OK - I went for it and bought a rebounder. I did not buy the video with it, assuming it would at least come with a "how-to" book. It didn't.

Other than just standing there on one or both feet and bouncing, what else do you do on it?

Thanks

You can jog with your knees high or not, slow or fast. I find jogging on the rebounder gives me the feeling I am actually running a little, and that makes me feel good.

So, for 10 minutes I jump with both feet, then for another 10 minutes, I jog, and it gives me a little variety. Both work the lymph system. Both are easy on the knees, and knees have been and still are a problem with me. So, at least, this is an exercise I can do even if it's a sore-knee day.

Have a radio near by and listen to your favorite station while jumping. I also have a clock near by to time myself.

Happy rebounding.

Rebounding is great. My Dad rebounded up until a few days before he died at age 94.

When he had a heart attack the year before and had stents put in we had the cardiac rehab people check him on the rebounder to see if this was really good for him. It turns out it did him more good than their tread mill.

He would put on his headphones and kick up his heels in dance form. I think it was a most enjoyable time for him. He never missed a day. He believed it helped keep him young and fit enough to take care of my mother who needs almost full care.

(I care for her now and marvel at how long he was able to do it, even after his heart attack. Of course he was on Glyconutritionals and I know that helped also.)

He would bounce with my mother's feet on the rebounder so they would both benefit from the bouncing.
