I am having so many problems with my daughters school that I am considering homeschooling. Let me know if you know anything about wtutor. It looks good to me but it's expensive.

Not familar with them, but if you do you something like this be sure and check if your daughters high school will except these as credit towards graduation. Also if they have headaches you might want to check into an anti glare screen for your computer. This has helped my son a lot.

Very pricey. You do not need something like this to homeschool. You would be better off hiring a local tutor. If you are near a teaching school, sometimes the students are available.
For high school I have been doing one subject at a time with my son. That is all he can handle.
Do you have a homeschool group near you? They many times will have people available to help new homeschoolers.
What are the problems you are having with the school?

We are using Keystone National Highschool.
The credits transfer to almost all highschools.
$300 some dollars per class. You can save by buying the books used on Amazon or e-bay.
We spreading out cost and stress by having my daughter take just 2 classes at a time, them on to the next.
Like the fact that door to go back to school is left open.
Best Wishes, Char

Hi Kristina, Is your daughter on a 504 at school? If not, this is the first thing you need to do. This lets the school make accomidations for your daughter because of a medical need. Once she is on that, she should be able to get FREE tutoring from the school.
My son has had lyme for 4 years. He attended high school full time for the first 4 months of his freshman year. He attended school sporatically for the rest of that year and his sophmore year. Luckily his guidance counselor had us put Greg on a 504 before the end of his freshman year.
Greg was too sick to attend school the end of his sophmore year and the next 2 years. During that time he was home tutored. The tutors would come to our house at no cost to us. Greg was tutored through the summers and received his diploma only 2 months after the rest of his class. (We fought the school and the school committee to give him permission to participate in the graduation ceremonies, but that is another story!).
Right now Greg is a freshman is college taking 4 classes. So far he is doing ok and this is the first year 4 years that he has not relapsed in the fall!!!! Knock on wood!
You should not have to pay for any of your daughter's schooling. I know, I work in the school system.
Please email me if you'd like more information or if there is anyway I can help.
Hang in there. The "squeaky wheel DOES get the grease". It is not an easy task, but you need to advocate for you child!!!
Best wishes through all of this.
Kathy, as always, confused
ps miss the friends I made here on this site. I need to come back and "visit" more often!
