It is 4 am. I have been awake for a couple of hours now. Again low in spirit so thought I would try to refocus on what I can do.
1. I can lie here and be on the computer. This is very good. Can't imagine a black out and not having the power to take my mind off of lyme and connect with others.
2. I can see the screen and write a full sentence now thanks to Don and his cohort.
3. I am hoping I will be able to get on the senior van and go to a meeting today for 2 hours re: housing. Should be excited about todays meeting as I have been on a waiting list for over 3 years or more. There are more obstacles to overcome now that I am approved. Guess I will take them one step at a time. Had forgotten that plan lately and have been stopped in my tracks so to speak.
4. I finally know what is wrong with my power chair. I guess. Not sure what the next step is with it.

I am thankful I did well at the meeting. I am learning to put my feet up and slouch and use my power chair.
I do not need to lie on the floor now as in the past. This is good.
I left the house at 9:30 am and returned at 1:30 pm. It is very unusual for me to last this long.

I hope others will come along and have some good things to report about their day today.
I wanted to add that I am glad Rosie told me I had left the burner on the stove on this morning.
I had boiled some water for poached eggs. Poached the eggs and was sitting down to eat them.
Rosie walked over to the stove, looked at the burner, looked at me and then looked at the burner again.
I'm not sure what she was doing but it let me know I had left it on.
I also am glad that Rosie and I were indoors for the 15 minutes of heavy hail today. We were by a window and were able to watch.

Trails, It is a big deal to vaccum, but I'm sure your partner doesn't mind to pick up the slack my hubby just finished vaccuming, I thought our carpets were black not beige, we have a black lab(Cassie)she is shedding alot right now

Kam, I just read that Rosie is your service dog wow that is amazing I'm glad she is doing her job and keeping you safe.
I think Cassie,my black lab X would make a good service dog.
When I was bedridden I used to tell her to get daddy and she would go down stairs and sit in front of my husband, very clever
Take care your friend Cassie

Trails...it does feel great when we can vacuum. That just happens to me every now and then too. I think I have been able to vacuum twice in the past year. Once as if I were normal. The other time with great effort but still able to do it.
Cassie,
I had a black lab before Rosie as a service dog. My health was not doing as well then and I was not able to get him out every day to exercise. He needed that. I need to be able to get out daily too. I don't know when I started but I have pretty much been able to get Rosie out daily for the most part.
