I am feeling a little better today, but I will only really be able to tell in a few weeks if my headaches really cleared. I have to say that someone on lymenet suggested that I tell my anasthesiologist(sp?) not to use steriods, and I have to give them a big internet hug because they do pump you full of them while you are under. My recovery was also hard. I had bad drops in my blood pressure and they were actually going to admit me in the hospital. I think this is from my pots caused by the lyme. Well, if I get better from this surgery, then I am totally convinced that my chronic sinusitis was sparked from my lyme disease. Sorry for the rambling and spelling, but I just wanted to say hi to everyone and thank everyone again.
P.S- Since it was my anniversary, my husband said he liked my gown better 2 years ago. lol

It sure helped mine. The WORST thing was they gave me codine and I was allergic to it,,,real big allergic!! I was sicker from that than the surgery.(I did get hospital time)
You wont believe how big the packing is tho,,when they remove it!! Rememeber not to sneeze, thats the hardest part!!
I think alot of mine was environmental too. I worked at a place at the time that had a huge tunnel concrete return air underneath the floor in a 'crawl' space and was FULL of pathogens,,,I looked once and it had things in there, besides dirt, you didnt even WANNA talk about!!
Probably mold and where I got sensitized. getting outta there helped more than anything!!
After the abx lyme treatment I dont have near the sinus infections,,,now they have morphed into dental infections instead.
I even took allergy shots forever and they said they would CURE the allergies,,,they didnt!!
I am allergic to work, cats, dogs, grain dust and the smell of mice and rats, then just common dust like in a shed.(where cats dogs and mice play,,,and leave dander)!!(In that order!!)
Hope you feel better every day and each day is better than the last.
Keep up the hard work!!!ib--just don--

Hope your sinus and headaches are better. I truly thank my stars that Lyme did not lodge in my sinuses. That's one part of the body lyme missed-so far.
Wishing you continued recovery, Carol

yes, i'm afraid the lyme HAS been in my sinus' for years. taking 2 things for it; but i'm always stuffed up and can't breathe.
can't use the c-pap machine for my sleep apnea since i can't breathe! so frustrating.
