Overfed in calories, refined carbs, saturated fats, hydrogensted fats ( man-made plastics) & Omega 6 oils ( that do not need to be tossed until after 2 months of repetative use... if desired,at fast food places) to mention a few.

"Diets that provide Omega 6 oils at the expense of Omega 3- oils stimulate NON-inflammatory pathways in the body.

Omega 3's, on the other hand, stimulate non-inflammatory pathways. As a result.. Omega 6's have been coined as "bad" & Omega 3's as "good".

In fact both are essential for human health and it is the balance of the two in relation to each other that is important.

Dominant Omega-6s in the body can create a situation that promotes chronic inflammation...propagation of cancer...heart disease...stroke...diabetes & autoimmune disorders..."

"Nearly every biologic function is somehow interconnected with the delicate balance between Omega 3 & 6 fatty acids. AS I mentiones, Omega 3 is intimatelyu involved in the control of inflammation, cardiovascular health & myelin sheath development, allergy reactivity, immune response, hormone modulation, IQ & behavior."

The book I am quoting from is called Natures RIvhest Sources of Omega-3s.THe Healing Power of FLax by Herb Joyner-Bey, N.D.

It covers all the illnesses & what to do to turn them around. With out side effects... thru proper intake balance of the essential oils. [Smile]
