Hi,
I'm looking for a room to rent in the SF area. I will be arriving on Sunday May 27th, and leaving Saturday June 2nd.
I'm on the roller coaster, as many of you, so likely will spend a lot of time "just resting" in the room (preferably in the dark - woo-hoo!). My main problems are neuro, so too much stimulation is what gets to me (including light).
Just to make my visit even more appealing, I should explain that I have neuro "attacks" which are basically complex partial seizures. I'm aware for the most part, and can take care of myself during them. It looks to the outside that I am basically running to the bathroom to vomit. Sorry. Wanted to warn because if you're squeamish about or have squeamish types in the house, perhaps I wouldn't be your first choice.
My personality is friendly, but I have to make sure I do lots of quiet, because otherwise, I eventually have one of these "attacks". I manage them by limiting my exposure to stimulus and resting.
If you have a room that you would consider renting, let me know. I'm allergic to cats and rodents, but not dogs!
With best wishes,

Aw, if you rent a car you could stay here free BUT we have 6 cats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And a sweet adorable little vicious pygmy goat!!! We are 2-3 hours from SF depending on traffic! Are you really allergic to cats>? We really do have six!! Sorry!!! But if you think you could stand it you are welcome!!!
It is very light in our house though, I don't know how we could darken it... and you would have to be in a sleeping bag on the floor of the babys room which is almost a guest room because she sleeps downstairs with us!!!!
You are welcome to visit too- we are 5 blocks form the beach if you are walkable*)!!*)*)!!
I adore Doc S. He saved my life. He is an ANGEL*)!*)!!
Best wishes, Sarah

Thank you guys so much!!!
That is a lovely offer, Sarah; I'd love to take you up on it, but I'm not sure at this time whether I can handle the drive
Dr. S. is indeed an angel. And brave. Thank goodness for him. I've been improving due to his prescription...perhaps I will be well enough in a few weeks Cats are a bit of an issue; when I'm "well-er", perhaps I could come for a visit and load up on antihistamines for the day.
With best wishes,

Try the Ronald McDonald House. Many of them will let adults stay there is they have rooms available. Children are first priority but many of the houses are not always full.
