I am new here and have a question. I was diagnosed with Lyme in 1994. Had the 30 day IV antibiotic treatment. Felt much better, only had mild symptoms after that that I was able to control. For the past 12 months I have had Scerlitis approx 7 times. Eye doctor treated with Steroid drops. Went to a specialist and he seems to think it is related to Lyme. Does Lyme stay with you all these years? And can the two be linked and will I have to go on IV again?

Maria,
I believe Lyme can stay with you all that time. I have no medical training but think it's worth trying to find out.

I'm sorry you're having to go through this and hope you can find the proper treatment to take care of it.

Hopefully, someone smarter and more informed than I will happen by soon.

I think I have this to a degree. I've had SEVERE eye pain throughout this at times. I also produce like no tears whatsoever anymore. I can't wear my contacts - it's that bad.
