I've been reading about the Lyme bacteria and the animals that have contracted Lyme disease, and I was surprised that deer were not on the list. Does anyone know if there is any research being done to found out how and why deer are immune to the Lyme bacteria. It seems to me that information could help in finding out how to fight the bacteria in humans.
