There was an actor called Casey Afleck on Letterman tonight. I may be spelling that all wrong cause I dont follow Hollyweirds too closely.

Anyway he was talking about spending time with his family his summer in upstate New York,,,like he did as a kid.

Said they are having a terrible lyme problem up there and doing about 35 tick checks(his words) to his small kids, himself and his wife and they determined they WERENT moving to the country, they had enough of that and went back home.

he said was filming a movie in a quarry he had to jump into and he was afraid of swimming ticks. this guy had a proper fear of ticks,,,he MAY be a potential spokesman and enough of a known guy to do some lyme promos IF somebody could coordinate.

BEST thing was David letterman DIDNT make big fun of it and took it VERY seriously as he should. usually previous mention on his show was all a BIG joke,,,NOT this time,,,a VERY serious take on it.

Letterman DIDNT discuss it or bring it up but agreed as best he could to what this guy was talking about!! maybe we should try to write and THANK Dave for his lyme awareness even if un intended. It was right at the end segment of the show,,,just before the music ending part!!

BUT better than in the JOKE parts!!! Thanks dear DAVE!!still--just don--

Actors are really at risk for Lyme because of all the running through woods that they do, etc, etc.

I see stuff on TV or in a movie and all I can think about are the ticks!!!
