Just thought I'd let ya'll know. I'm actually watching it right now. There was a patient that came in complaining of heart palps. It's funny, because LD was the first thing that came to mind. Later on Dr. Cox tells him that it's Lyme Disease. He has a nurse check him for the bulls eye rash. She just told him that there wasn't a rash. So they are trying to figure out what else it can be. I'm thinking it's still Lyme. I'll let you know how it ends.

Yeah, turns out they end up shaving his head and finding the tick bite/ bulls eye rash. It's kind of misleading because like we all know NOT all people get rashes, but I am glad Lyme Disease was talked about. The doctor told him they were going to put him on 100mg of Ceftin and that he would be fine. And that was the end of that part.

hi lauren

I saw that episode tonight [Frown] Huge bummer!

I guess no one told the producers that only 50% of lyme disease patients get the classic bulls eye and alot of people never find the tick that bite them.

Gezz, I was so undone by this mis-information on national TV & Scrubs is a huge hit show. I said to my hubby how many people now watching at home think you have to have the tick, tick bite or bulls eye rash to have lyme disease and get treatment :-(

He said no one will take it seriously because it a comdey. I beg to differ!

I think we should call or write the network it aired on & give them the correct facts
