i called my sister. i just couldn't wait for her to call me.
i was awake all night worrying. with good cause. we are all close and i guess it's physic but i always know when something is happening.
they put a PICC line in mom's neck. they are giving her massive antibiotics. she's very dehydrated.
the hospital would not talk to doni on the phone so she called everyone and they alll went to the hospital. doni said she gave her a 25-75 percent chance. they were all very concerned.
anyway today she called dr. saxon and he said she is much improved. her coloring is good but she's very weak.
my aunt who is an er trauma operating room nurse (is that how to say it?) is going today.
i told doni to ask dr. saxon if i should come home. it might make mom better if she thought i was taking care of the cats and was waiting for her.
sally is very experienced and will talk to the doctors and let doni know whether she thinks i should go home.
it's tough sitting here waiting for the phone to ring..
i feel for all of us in this situation. yep, mom has pneumonia and all. this stuff is nasty on the young and very old.......
i just don't understand why airfare is sooo expensive. a round trip, cheap class, is 654 to and from, from dfw to dayton. man...somebody is making money...
