i only feel crappy if i drink more than one or two glasses of wine.
actually it might be kind of a crap shoot. sometimes i still feel crappy from one or two glasses. but sometimes i don't.
sorry for the ramble.
i work in a restaurant so it's hard to say no to a glass of wine at the end of the night.
i wouldn't feel guilty about having a glass here or there though.
if it was REALLY bad i feel like at least one of my doctors would spefically tell me not to drink.

Just don't ever do it while on flagyl or tinidazole.
The biggest issue would be the resulting yeast you would get from it.
For me....forget it. I always would get hangovers after 1/2 beer. No alcohol for me.

the glycemic effect is another factor that can really affect people, especially with no food prior.
in addition to alcohol being really off limits with flagyl, much would depend upon how strong, happy and clear your liver may be.
If you are taking any meds that advise no drinking, that is usually due to the effects on the liver when mixing. Even w/o meds and no infection, the liver has to work hard to process any amount of alcohol.
For some, I thing the hang-over with even tiny, tiny amounts might also be how well their body handles the the - oh - there is a word that starts with "s" - I think - it's mainly in red wines.

A glass of wine is not worth the yeast infection, that for me, invariably follows!
I have had a couple of vodkas in the past 18 months on special occasions. No yeast it seems in that!
