Tutu, Andie, Lou B, Cantgiveup, and Boomerang for my early birthday wishes!
Just coming on tonight, and Lou B; thanks for giving me the day off lymenet! But first I just wrote this quick poem for me, and have to get it PUBLISHED by adding it here on tutu's BD greeting for me....
Last 4 days since 20th, can barely walk; it's left thigh area like my olden days BEFORE my hip replacement 1 yr. ago on 3-26. PAINFUL for each step I take with my sturdy cain.
Can't... I'm on my way out to the kitchen to make my air popped popcorn as I read/reply here...
Thanks everyone for starting my birthday off right! ************************************
Happy birthday to ME, I used to sing as I sat upon my Daddy's knee!
oh gee, oh gee, gosh dog gone it; I have to pee as I go wee, wee, wee sighing with glee!
I now sing, "LET IT BE, LET IT BE!" or, " OH SAY CAN YOU SEE?" in our great land; the HOME OF THE FREE!
I could have been named Lee, but I was born Betty T; then married hubby to become Betty G !!!
another original by Bettyg on my 59th birthday, 3-24-08! **********************************

Wow, so many of you to THANK for your BD wishes/greetings/graphics and poem. ******************************
i'm working from the bottom up ...
Cobby, wonderful poem ... rub it in on my age!! that's ok; i treasure every one I have.
Pinchotgail; what a gorgious graphic of the little girl and her dog eating cake! I had my BD cake today too!!
kam, that's quite the gorilla, and what's the other animal? can't remember the name right now. loved it and my balloon!
Pam, Fiesty's my name, I play a pretty rough game, it will never be the same, and the "old folks' home will be quite TAME! even if sometimes I get the blame, they will never put me to shame!! thanks for my special greeting pam!
lymemomtoo ... another 59; thanks for the wishes, but my money will run out long before I do in a nursing home to reach that age!!
Don, "Hope your spring is filled with promise and NEW life". Yes, I'd like that very much Don!!
You are ALL welcome for the help I provide !! *********************************************
Don, mtree, Cathy, Jay and Sheila, dakota'smom, and kelmo,
BJK...lyme has taught me PATIENCE; I never had it before lyme!!
Madge and Geneal, " hope your day is filled with hope and joy and the promise Of rainbows to come"!
I hade a wonderful day sleeping in till 1230 pm; reading only my email;
Madge, I didn't come to lymenet, and then off to pick up my BD winnings:
either cut flowers or decorated cake! well, I got both!! Got gold/red gerbena daisies, yellow mums and made a flower arrangement, and then hubby and I started on my free choc. cake w/yummy frosting ... not that sugary stuff!
Got groceries, took my nap as usual. Worn out by then. then went to get my FREE PAPA JOHNS VEGGIE PIZZA, punch card of 10 to get it! yummy.
enjoyed my BD cards in snail mail... 4 photos of our 2 grand nephew, 2, and his sister, 1, born right before my bd/hip surgery last year..cute!
woke up this morning, and i could walk with NO PAIN 1st thing, but pain came back little by little until end of grocery shopping, i could barely walk again. next month see hip surgeon on my 1 yr. checkup.

woohoo ! woohoo ! (i left out the little woohoo guy because if i remember right the movement of them bothers you)
I was reading info on yeast overgrowth and it said it could cause intolerances to gluten and casien (sp?) among other things
also could cause chemicals (like perfumes) to be a problem ... i thought of you when i read it..
just thought i would share that... i am sure your dr has ruled in/out yeast along with the lyme for you.

Hey Betty, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I mean it! I hope your whole week/month/year/etc is HAPPY & HEALTHY! You deserve it! You put yourself to good use here helping people with information and giving them a warm welcome.
I was confused and scared when I first came here, but your instantaneous warm welcome and load of super-useful information really helped clear my mind and worries a lot! I'm sure a LOT of other people here feel the same way! You are one of the people for whom I have VERY high respect and admiration of!

wow, your glowing remarks about me are going to cause my head to swell and swell and I won't be able to wear my everyday navy floppy hat rather like Pinocole's, sp, nose!!
But a heartfelt thanks for them! Nice upper to end my week.
catalyst, I remember you helping me with pc problems too that i could NOT do on my own. We all share our knowledge on this board in one way or another. you didn't run out of patience with me, and BOY, did I appreciate that!!
when i don't understand something, i just don't get it although i'm trying to grasp that idea.
what someone doesn't know, another person does, and we have OUTSTANDING RESEARCHERS ON THIS BOARD! They are the ones who are AMAZING for the ACCURATE info they bring daily here! -----------------------------------------
then there is our marvelous TREEPATROL who have compiled way over 1000 links of good lyme info. **********************************************

michelle, treepatrol, and gail,
BIG THANKS to each of you for your greetings!
Michelle, were you taking any more photos? How are you doing with your 2nd recent bite? You've been in my thoughts and prayers you know!
tree, you've been peaking again, haven't you? looks just like me except my back is straight, and i'm USING MY CAIN, and I was given a balloon, yellow in fact, by Perkins' waitress! I sat her laughing as I viewed your cute graphics! thanks for the upper, belly laugh!
Gail, thank you so much for making me feel good too. What goes around, comes around in compassion. THE GOLDEN RULE WAS TAUGHT EARLY IN MY FAMILY!
In fact, my late Dad had lifelong health problems so our neighbors/family/friends were constantly to our farm putting in/taking out crops, haying, etc. when dad was well, he returned the favors each time he was able to.
so thanks again as tears are streaming down my eyes remembering my late dad and his 80 yrs. of health issues! he was an UNDIAGNOSED LYME patient too!
