I have been wondering why I haven't been able to keep myself out of bed today & I feel like I've been dragged under a bus.
I decided to look at the calendar & sure enough.... It's time for my flare. It would seem they are worsening again.
I thought I would post this for any fellow sufferers who share flare timing with me, in case they are also wondering what hit them.

It's really the full moon that's the problem, isn't it?
oh joy

for some maybe the full moon? For me the new one's the crusher.
I had been watching on the board & seemed to notice a trend. I think there are more like me out there.
If I remember correctly (which I often don't), I think Geneal might be in on this timing with me. I don't remember who else because I'm typing from underneath a tank right now.

AliG... AliG...
How many times do I have to tell you to stay OUT OF THE ROAD so the big bad tank won't run over you?
MY oh MY! You just don't listen!
Sorry to hear you are feeling run down and miserable.
Not sure it is any specific moon phase though... and more so the keets 28 day cycle that is causing it? Just a thought.
But like you.. it is easier for me to remember when I will have the tank visiting my neighborhood... cause I can remember the moon phases MUCH better than I can remember calendar months and days.
Plus being a night owl I am out more often than most at night... and look for the moon... especially when I am feeling bad.
Really.. if ya gotta know... I go out to howl at it.. but don't tell anyone! They MIGHT think I am crazy!
Hope you feel better soon... little new moon baboon.

I always get my monthly friend either around a full moon or a new moon.
Obviously I am not regular.
I always feel really bad before and a couple of days after my friend comes to visit.
Hang in there my friend.
You are in good company.
Sending you positive thoughts and prayers.
Hugs,
Geneal

TC-
I KNOW you keep telling me that, but the road just looks so tempting sometimes. Perhaps I have some squirrel in my blood? Maybe the ticks that bit me had been feeding on squirrels?
Thanks so much for that little bit of seasonal info.
I'm fearing the summer this year because any elevation of my body temp has been making my Sx WORSE!!!!
As for the 28-day lunar cycle, that's how I can tell that my ketes are still healthy. They mark the lunar cycle on the calendars, so it saves me from having to try to figure it out myself.
It's really great because I always seem to forget to write things like that down. I used to wonder if I was going to actually die before I realized that it was the ketes flaring.
I think it helps, once you know what's going on & that it WILL pass, to be able to look at the calendar & say to yourself, "Eh-it's just another flare, I'll be "out of the game" for a little while."
It does get scarier, IMO, when you're not on ABX & they keep getting more severe. I don't like this concept of an ABX break. It makes me feel like I'm losing valuable ground in my battle.
I actually find that my flare seems to start during the week preceeding the new moon and it is pretty much 28-day clockwork. Maybe not the lunar effects, unless you subscribe to the theory that the "pull" starts a few days before & lasts a few days after.
I think our calendar should have ALL 28 day months & just add on an extra month. I think that would be less confusing. Enough with the "30 days has September..." and "What day did the 1st fall on?"!
Leap year-Schmeep year! I think, with the seasons seeming to shift, they have it wrong anyway.
Uh-Oh, now I want to fight with someone about the calendar? I should probably go back to bed. They are surely going to take me away one of these days. (or one of these "cycles" anyway )
Geneal, thanks so much! I needed those hugs, thoughts & prayers!
Charlie- What can I say???
Now I am even MORE exhausted from laughing MY moon off at the imagery you've given me. (LOL)
Thanks pal, I needed that laugh!
Anyone know the proper medical term for incessant rambling and repeated attempts at excessive Graemlin use???

I also have more trouble with the new moon. I should learn to schedule my Dr. appointments around that time so that they can see just how miserable I am!
It never fails, when I do have an appointment, it's one of the rare days when I look well-rested.

lmt - I'm so sorry that your daughter seems to have been in the same hole I've been. Please give her a big hug from me.
TuTu & Tincup, you're both a couple of sillypants. Thanks for the comic relief! ((((hugs))))
Thanks for checking on me TC.
I had to drag my butt out yesterday because DD had a "Brownies" thing. I decided to go to the healthfood store & try (once again ) to fight back with supplements.
I bought several "cleanses"(first cleanse, liver cleanse, mercury cleanse, para-cleanse, candida cleanse), a super-dooper liquid vitamin (gag), MORE probiotics, a liver support formula, Smart-oils, Garlicin and I don't even know what else.
I didn't start any of the cleanses yet, but I did start taking all of the others, plus an immune mushroom formula, an enzyme formula, "healthy aging w/ NT factor", Colostrum, IP-6 & Inositol, kold-kare(andrographis), resveratrol(from knotweed (polygonium)), and cats claw. Of course I'm also drinking my green tea.
I have no room left for food after gagging down all those herbs/supplements. I hope I can keep it up. I don't think I've ever made it past a week, when I've gotten into these determined fits before.
My top teeth have been numb since yesterday, I don't know if that's a good sign.??? This morning was the first time in weeks that I didn't wake up in a sweat, so that was good . My achilles tendons where hurting, not so good. Time will tell if any of it will make any difference, I guess.
I always wonder, when I do these things, if it would have passed anyway. At least I feel like I'm trying to help myself. That has to be worth something. I know it helps me not feel like I'm giving in and giving up.
I need a nap now, but it doesn't look like I'll be getting one today.
Why do supplements make me tired? Why does EVERYTHING make me tired????????????????????
