hubby called saying he needed help; yelled back...i'm on my way.
there he was lying on the FLOOR spread out. with his advanced parkinson's, severe tremors, and NOT being stable, took 15-20 minutes to get him up.
i grabbed his pantlegs at bottom and dragged him with his using his arms to push 4-5 times where he could eventually work with a livingroom chair to eventually get on his knees, and up.
i was so worried.
last week ended his amandyine tremor pills, and strictly L DOPA parkinson's meds;
he sweats PROFUSELY non-stop with any efffort in doing anything;
causes temper flare ups and he's not like that...
i put a call into his neurologist; they get back tomorrow and will call! terrible side effects.
he also is UNDIAGNOSED LYME since my 1st llmd didn't know how to read IGENEX's western blot igm and igg results.
i asked him what happened: he was bringing in some pop with a tupperware top on; pop fizzed causing lid to come off. he bent to put pop down, and lost his balance.
so instead of falling, he decided to sit down!! and then yelled at me to come.
he was thoroughly soaked!!
he's fallen outside 3 times last winter; 1-2 times on ice, and just losing his balance.
hope this doesn't keep up; and so glad he lost 100 lbs. to be under 200 lbs. now. uffda.

How awful for both of you.
My brother-n-law who was age 29 was diagnosed with Post Traumatic Parkinson's Disease.
Mind you an avid deer hunter.
Given my 15+ years of treating neurogenic disorders, I had never heard of this diagnosis.
I know he has Lyme.
He's had episodes like that.....memory problems, has to wear an AFO on one leg, etc.
He doesn't have the characteristic shuffle, etc.
They (my sister and him) don't want him tested for Lyme.
Do you think your husband would benefit from an appt. with a LLMD?
Maybe with antibiotics, some of this may improve.

thank you for your thoughts, suggestions, etc.
hubby has seen what i've gone thru from beginning; he doesn't believe in pills and only takes his thyroid and now TREMOR/PARKINSON'S pills due to his severe tremors, etc.
NOPE, he won't take abx. his late mom, a diabetic, was hooked on so many meds especially 1 pain med. but thanks for comments!
neurologist office got back to me; he is going thru WITHDRAWL from amandytine/tremor pill, so dr. is calling in 1 month again of this pill to go along with l-dopa.
rn was kind enough when she called me at 830 am and i was SOUND asleep, to say i'll call you back in 2 hrs. and then called 3 hrs. later!! bless her sweet picking heart as old Tenn. Ernie Ford would say!

i have a walker from last year's hip surgery so he can use that any time, but boy is he stubborn! thanks for your thoughts and also about your dad/brother too.
