She said "

I live in Montana where we have no cases of Lyme
> Disease, and a positive Lyme test in someone with no travel outside of
> Montana would be considered to be a false positive serum test." [loco]

Also indicated When the ELISA is negative it is unlikely that you have Lyme Disease.
> Usually a Western Blot is only performed when the ELISA is positive or at
> least indeterminate.

I wonder if there is anyone from Montana out there and if so why are you on lymenet?

It does make you sick and I've only been into the treatment game since 1/4/08.

One thing I'd like to mention I have such unusal inflammation and am being treated for lyme. Inflammation (heat etc..rather than constant pain seems my burden)

Go see my LLMD Monday it seems every AB I'm on (oral) there is always a weird reaction internally - abdomen wise, kidney as you probably know I could go on.

Hopefully with lower than normal PTT different AB's and maybe address different co's. Been on Tetra, Arithromixin, ceufloxine (sp) minocycline and diflucan. Get better for awhile then back especially while on mino & difclucan.

Thought Doc M & Doc B's presentation on Bartonella were good, but just can't diagnos myself. Some ducks don't even want to touch..That also makes me ps'd and sick...

Prior to LLMD I was at times bleeding from the mouth after I ate (not all the tme), sometimes would just taste blood. I also have a lung diease (mild)Bronchiectasis( say that 3 times fast) which also can cause inflammation. Sometimes head gets so warm feels like it's going to pop, had to finally leave work. Oh yeah, tomorrow I get tested for Agent Orange if I can make it to the VA....

Eyeball would swell - biopsy showed nothing? Maybe looking in wrong direction during biopsy?

Eye Doc wants me to go to Rheumy, but wanted to run it by LLMD. Some of my bloods are screwy and eye doc figures an Assoc. Professor at Beth Isreal in Boston could help sought out many symptoms..and take lead.

There are days feel like knocking at death's door. Biopsy although didn't show much didn't heal correctly and grew a nodule/granuloma signigfying inflammation..

Bummer didn't show more, but know somewhere there is inflammation.. Lyme possibly but should I wonder if all symptoms are lyme related?

Guess question is, Do any if you see other specialist? Eye Doc wants rheumy to run show, I want under direction of LLMD or work with LLMD.

It's a struggle and like everyone on LN hate to be in this situation and thought I'd never say this hate to be OUT OF WORK. I know I've read many of your stories and at night my prayers (and children's) are for everyone who suffers not only from lyme but COPD (pulmonary diseases)

Any thoughts in regards to specialist not lyme literate will be appreciated...Lyme Literate Specialist are out of pocket and expensive. Hate to pass them by but have to be practical...
