Recap of week 33 for Group 1
Silver Birches in Mist at Dawn in Scotland
Akinwolf
Wednesday-Me and Rocky 2 1/4 in the 90's degree sauna of the south. Also.................ta da...cleaned office and filed ALL paperwork!!!
Yes, folks, it's only taken me ONE year to do it!
Miracles never cease
Andie: Is still able to work, but no walking for awhile. She is in transitition with new abx, acupuncture and massage therapy.
Bob
3 miles in 98% weather and you can peg for another mile tonight with the dogs.
I also walked down and up 6 flights of stairs.
More biophoton therapy while I was walking, I scared the neighborhood folk and took my shirt off.
Of course the neighborhood folk comprised of birds, one deer and a couple of chipmunks.
I got back to work and walked up the 6 flights, I knew to take a t-shirt and switched shirts after a few minutes.
I was a little heated and am probably showing off a musky cologne.
All in all, I really enjoyed every step, as I now really enjoy telling you about it.
So cool to hear Bob.
Cathy
Just checking in to see all the familar names and some new ones too. Still not up and moving very well.
Still waiting on a phone call from my LLMD after he figures out what some tests mean and ideas on where I should be going for this IV. Was suppose to be on Wed, but still no call, so if I don't hear from him by tomorrow afternoon, I'll call and see what's up.
I have more trouble with the "unknown" than the knowing.
Really just wanted to say "hello" though. Keep walking and I'll catch up to all of you when I can.
Don alias Handy Man
KAM
Sunday am: 100 min outing via sitting upright in power chair to grocery store. A first for me. I think.

Monday am: outing to dog park via car (not sure how long.
Monday afternoon: round the block in power chair. (again, will check later and see how long)
Monday pm: outing to PO in PC

Then things started going down hill and I was used up.
Tues pm: run to PO via PC
Wed am: 20 min on trail
Thurs: outing in PC to PO.

TuTu

Recap of week 8 for group 2 (2 months now)
Awesome Ali
Well, leave for Seattle tomorrow. Will fly by myself for the first time in 11 yrs of marriage.
Waiting to hear how it went Ali. HOpe you are OK.
Larkspur:
well, I did about 30 minutes of toning/strength training today...which was too much since I haven't done that in about 6 months.
Plus, I did this after I straightened the house for a couple hours this morning...I only made a slight dent btw
then I went food shopping with my husband and thought "uh oh..."
Will I ever learn?!
Sat - walked 1.3 miles with my husband...we just missed a big rain storm!
MTree
Hi Everyone.......
I finally caught up to all the posts since being away last week....
we seem to be growing....
been pretty active this week......mostly mundane inside and outside work at home...but I don't mind mundane....
unpacking...and getting caught up with laundry today I managed to get in a walk....a mile.
it was sooooo hot out that I waited for Dh to come home and we walked in the evening.....the heat just wilts me.....
hope everyone is doing ok....and walking...or trying to walk...or thinking about walking....or just tapping your toes is good too.
last week was a bit of a jummble of things.....
I walked 2 miles.....with my walking..... but did a lot of other active stuff....
I gave the dog a bath.... I went to the doctors all by myself and drove there all by myself...... Helped DH clean the garage.... did some attic stuff.... went through tons of paperwork....mostly medical stuff...
I have to make walking more of a priority though...and put more effort into that...... my body needs to get stronger.....because while doing all of those things I find that I'm to physicaly weak....
Tracy
Last we heard from Tracy she was herxing dag gum it. I saw a video recently on herxing if you are intersted Tracy. Hope you are OK.
Lou B
Hot outdoors in NOrth NJ so Lou B stayed indoors and did:
2 miles on treadmill in 40 minutes,
15 minutes easy on rower,
3 miles on stationary bike in 15 minutes.
I was going to do some free weights but I ran out-of-energy.
Not a bad start Lou B

Mon am: 1 hr outing in pc
Good to be out. First 30 min went fast. 2nd 30 min seemed to take forever to get home. Even Rosie kept wanting to rest in the shading spots.
I was not doing well enough to stop and rest. If I keep moving it takes my mind off of feeling yucky. Started feeling better towards the end.
We got back home by 9 am. Very hot out all ready.
Hosed Rosie down when we went by an enterprise dealer. A person was washing their cars so asked if I could hose rosie down to help cool her off.
Mon pm: 1 hr outing in power chair

Tues am: around the block in my power chair
I am guessing this heat is going to slow us down a bit.
It is hot here. Lou B said it is hot in NJ. How are things where you all are?
We will be getting what is called the Monsoons soon. Looking forward to them. But, it is tricky when you are out in the power chair.
You can leave the house and have clear skies. Go into a store. come out and have a down pour going on.

Love the great scenery pictures, Kam. It's nice to escape to some of them, even if only in my dreams.

Me and Rocky a little over 3 miles today! Kam, it's in the 90's down here. I went around 8:30 in the a.m. to beat the heat.
Did a couple of hours of cleaning outside, pump house and getting rid of cobwebs around the house and then got some natural biophotons too.
A really good day for me.
BTW, spooked a doe, she blew (like deer do) and then high-tailed it out of there. I was about 50 feet from her. Also saw a beautiful red cardinal.
Hope I didn't overdo!

Good to hear from you Cathy, TuTu and Akinwolf.
Wed am: 10 min loop in forest.
So happy I was able to be in the forrest...especially while it was still cool and damp.
Amazed at anger I felt when I saw the 7 work trucks on the land about a mile of the two miles to trail.
There is an auction this Saturday for the plots of land on that stretch. More pine trees being cut down and land leveled.
Housing will be coming soon to that area.
I most likely would be bidding on a plot myself if I had the funds.
And would need to cut some trees down to build.
So, I understand. But, still have mixed feelings about the forest turning into more housing.

And Ali traveling on her own to see LLMD.
And I know there are many more.

Thanks for the PM Lymetoo - actually my husband (who works in computers) figured it out. flickr was giving me the wrong url for some reason for the photo.
Anyway, didn't walk today, but here is a pic of a collage I made of a cardinal last year. It is even sitting on a branch like in Kam's photo. Lyme disease turned me into an artist
If you see a cardinal, listen closely!

I'm not a member of this group yet, but would like to report my progress.
My main symptoms have always been CNS (brain fog, memory and other IQ stuff), and began to feel more tired after a few months of IV abx.
Have stopped abx of all kinds for 1+ month now, and will start with Dr. Zhang's Herbal protocol soon.
I started going to gym last Monday after skipping it for almost 5 months. I've kept up with 1hour of workout since then (walking on treadmill, clliptical, and bicycle). Each time I'd have lots of sweats. It helps my mood, but in the last two days my brain fog is nastier than ever.
Well, I'll keep exercising+sweating at least 1hour a day, whatever treatment options I'm going with.
Thanks for listening.

I'm still not back up and walking, but do keep checking in here to follow up on your progress.
Larkspur, I LOVED the cardinal. How creative. I've never had even the slightest artistic bone in my entire body, so I always respect when people can do things like that.
Lou, Again, I can't say enough how happy I am that you were sprung from your doctor. That is the type of thing we all really need to hear. To know it's really possible.
Kam, Enjoying all your pictures. Heck, I don't walk at this time, but I do keep reading this thread and getting lost in far away places from your pictures. Thanks for sharing.
All, that's a lot of walking and impressive numbers. Hopefully I'll be joining in and trying to keep up with you soon.
My LLMD has called the last two days and after telephone tag yesterday he did say he should be getting back to me today after talking to this more well known LLMD in regards to my future path. This unknown is the hardest part for me.
Keep on walking and although I'm not racking up the numbers like you all are at this point, I am still reading and with you in thought and spirit.
