I am new here and have a dear friend just tested positive for Lyme. Looks like she has had it for at least a year.
Any advise for newcomers that would help us speed up the discovery process (what to do first, where not to go, where to go, etc).
Any help would be appreciated. So far all we have is a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine in Reno (Lyme survivor herself)and her referral to a Lyme specialist in Nevada City, CA (who is not returning calls for her to set an appointment).
Is there any good Lyme Doc's close to Illinois that anyone has used? (I already used the referral system on Lyme.net)
Any help would be appreciated.
