I have had the impression in the past that Oprah is unable to empathize with those who suffer from mental illness - she just doesn't "get it"
As far as her current attitude, based on her belief system (we create our own reality) she may feel that somehow people are manifesting their poor health issues through negative attitudes etc
It's hard to have a chronic illness in the age of the "Secret"!
I still love Oprah for the most part - she does a lot of good and I agree a lot with what she says/does...she's just human like the rest of us...

IMO I think it would be tricky to air info on lyme disease and still stay out of the courts for law suits.
I am sure her staff runs things by the legal eagles.
Hoping they can find a way to air info on lyme disease and avoid any law suits.
I think it could be done but I also am not a legal advisor.

That's a good point. I didn't realize how much she was into the deliberate creating and manifestation. I poked around on her website. Especailly the oprah and friends I think it was.
I myself like the deliberate creating and positive energy and all that. People who are into it seem to gravitate to me as well. Most of them are healthy as a horse.
The constant finger pointing that I brought this on myself is just a pain in the you know what. Needless to say they don't stay friends after that.
I do have a couple of friends with lyme who enjoy the power of intent. That's alot of fun.
If she believes that than there may not be objective. Hmmm she hasn't manifested her idea of ideal body weight yet. I wonder why??????
Thanks Lymetoo and Kam, I have a better perspective of Oprah now
