Anyone catch the Osmond family story on Idol this week? Son of the oldest(I'm horrible with names) of The Osmonds singing group was auditioning and had MS.

His father was also suffering from MS in Utah.
This young man was going through one of his good periods and wasn't in a wheelchair.

He was put through to Hollywood. I hope this stressful period doesn't find him going downhill again.

Pam

How did I miss this show? Maybe I have it on DVR.

Yes, Alan Osmond has MS. Not sure if he's ever been tested for Lyme. I know I've wondered about it for years now.

Alan's kids used to perform here. [back when they were all performing at their theatre here]

They have a group called Second Generation, or Generation II .. not sure. They were WONDERFUL to watch! Outperfomed the young days of the Osmonds!

I believe the sons name is David. He is such a little cutie and did well in the audition.

They have a family website and I believe David has his own.

I was so tempted to post him and ask him if he had ever been tested through IGeneX or had even considered Lyme Disease.

I'm sure lots of Lyme ppl thought the same thing.

Yes, I had it on DVR. Don't know how I missed the show....??

Yes, I'm certain I've seen him perform...about 8 yrs ago when he was 20. His brothers were all around 17-22 yrs old. They're awesome together!

I also saw Doug at the audition. He used to work for Xango, and I've met him through several business meetings. Doug is one of David's brothers.

Should make the show interesting. I think they've already found some great talent and several good ones in UT.

Betty,

I don't know if it is repeated, but once they are done with all the auditions(they still have some more citites to audition at) and get to Hollywood, I am sure David will be featured in the next round because of his famiy's fame and because he did so well in his audition.

Stay tuned.

They just dumped David Osmond. He could really sing .. they just showed that he was cut ..

But DIDN'T show the tape of WHY. Didn't show the performance that got him cut. Really stupid.

Tutu, I really think this situation is in the best interest of David. I don't see how he could keep up with the stressful auditions week end and week out.

Maybe he was one that forgot their words? I have to do some surfing to see if there is explanation.

Sometimes what we want is not what we need?
