I feel like saying congratulations but its really nothing to celebrate. However, living with countless symptoms and the unknown is AWFUL!! I am glad you finally got an answer and are on the road to recovery!!

I want to say congratulations (in the best possible way)!
I am sorry you are struggling with this disease, but it is wonderful that you now have a diagnosis and can start the road to better health.
For years and years I have suspected that I have Lyme Disease, but like you and so many others, the diagnosis and treatment are not forthcoming.
My first appt. with a LLMD is March 17 and I am literally counting the hours.
I'm wishing you a ton of happiness and good health as you go on through this journey.

Well, I almost want to use Groucho's old line about not wanting to be a member of any club that would have me....
And on one hand, this is a bugger of a club (I know, bad pun, I slap my own face!)
But on the other, it is filled with the BEST people!
And so I just want to thank ALL of you and send you a bug hug!
I honestly would not even be here today without your caring and support --- I mean that with all my heart!
And I have to say that although this is not a diagnosis I would wish on anyone, the gratitude that I have for all of you as well as my LLMD
Is because of the VALIDATION that was given to me!
I think that is such a huge, important part of dealing with this disease.
SO --- Started the doxy Tuesday.... today I feel like the bus ran over me, and backed up over me, and ran over me again
Parts of me hurt that I never had hurt before, fever, chills, headaache, muscle aches ---- you know what I'm talking about!
But I knew to expect this herxing, so I'll just ride it out.
And again, on one hand it's REALLY bad (I'm going back to bed as soon as I finish this!)
But on the other, this reaction means that Lyme has been there as I thought.

..."today I feel like the bus ran over me, and backed up over me, and ran over me again..."
Some days I feel like a chewed up peice of gum on the bottom of some ones shoe...and they keep stepping on me...
all you can do is ride it out now....
you know where to reach me.... thinking of you...
