I have an appt with Dr. C this Monday. I am booking a hotel and know there are some the doc has affilations with and patients get a discount. Are they all decent places?
I don't need anything fancy. It's just an overnight stay and I don't feel well enough to use a pool/hot tub. There were some 'off name' places.
Any thoughts are appreciated. Prices seemed to be from $50-$65. Not bad.

I find it essential to call the motel or hotels I am considering and inquire about how quiet the rooms may be, what kind of cleaning chemicals or perfumed products they use, etc.
Getting a room away from the ice machine and elevator is good. A room NOT over a bar is excellent.
Sometimes, if I ask very nice, they will not use their regular products but use scent-free and safer products to clean.
One hotel even took out all the smelly soaps and shampoos and put in a ozone machine before my arrival (they do this for all their guests with multiple chemical sensitivities). That was very nice and it did make a difference from the room next door that my brother had.
It's always good to have a fridge, although they can be noisy. In some towns, a taxi will deliver food from the grocery or restaurant if there is not room service in the hotel. Some grocers will deliver food, even if they don't have an official delivery service.
