Just wondering if anyone knew the court's decision for Dr. J on Friday...

Folks in CT are tied up with the bill stuff going on up there... and the Dr. J's hearings too.
What a mess.
I hear the CT DPH is being bad bad bad... but what's new?
They should know about Dr. J and how it went..... and I'll probably be speaking to them in a day or two.

Saw Dr. Jones today. He said it did not end well. He had been extremely optimistic up until Friday, felt the panel was fair, that they did not have proof of any wrongdoing on his part, but.....the old politics at work do not appear to be going to change anytime soon, as he had hoped.
So now he expects to be found guilty of the charges and then will have to file an appeal, and is probably facing a five year deal now on both cases.
Really disheartening. He was very hopeful in the beginning that this was a new, fresh panel that "got" him, but evidently the decision is going to go back to the full board.

And to know taxpayers money is being used to screw the one good doctor that can save many children's lives.

BTW-
A video was made on Zemel's testimony that day, he wasn't happy.
Soon the world will see what HE is all about.
Just one of the %&*^$#^ that is trying to prevent our children from getting help.
May they all rot.
Zemel-in case you don't remember.... wrote a letter offering to train investigators on how to sneak into a LLMD's office pretending they are a patient...
And how the investigator should act while there and what to say to try to get treated for a disease (Lyme) they don't have...
So the LLMD would get busted.
Now he is at Dr. Jones throat.
Could there be more miserable human beings on this earth?

This sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe I should use nicer language? That's really the nicest word I'm thinking right now.
I wonder how those children of the father that started this business are doing? I hope daddy-o is never tick bitten.

TC- with all my heart I wish and hope you are right that the day of accountability is coming for these folks.
But.. i don't believe it. And no matter what, not in time to prevent the irreplaceable human being and doctor Dr. Jones from being harried and harassed and tormented and bankrupted.
Speaking as a parent of a child with Lyme, as a patient with Lyme herself, and as a person who has zero tolerance for watching innocents being trampled by the greedy and the arrogant and the evil,
May Zemel and all the rest rot in h--ll. They've richly deserved their place there.

Speaking as the parent of a child with Lyme, his life would not have been ruined had DR ZEMEL not told us he had been adequately treated with the three weeks of Amoxycillin he had.
Five years later....couldn't finish high school, couldnt' get out of bed for two years...
We didn't know any better and FOOLISHLY listened to Dr. Zemel who ROBBED my son of his life from age 14 to 19.

I don't think I could bear to watch a video of Dr. Zemel. My son was the lucky one who was treated by both Dr. Zemel AND Dr. Senechal, the biased panel member on Dr. Jones hearing panel.
It's hard to forgive and forget when you watched your child suffer for five years and didn't know why, and were told over and over it WASN'T CHRONIC LYME DISEASE.
He has been in remission now for about 10 months or so, but he is still sick and still needs long term treatment at some point. Thankfully he sees Dr. Jones in May.

So very pathetic and sad.
All I can do right now is pray hard that the truth is revealed.

I hope Dr Jones has a lot of support from people around him, and I trust that he is continuing to do right by the children he sees.
If there is anything more that we can do to help in any way, let us know.
Personaly, I would love it if every pediatrician stepped forward to say I am a Dr Jones too, and start to treat kids adequately for Lyme and co's.

If the politics and underhanded dealings by the IDSA (and insurance companies) were brought to light it would make Bernie Madoff look like a saint.
Wonder if anyone is somehow trading ponzi schemes on lyme patients?
