Well, Tincup, the way I feel I could probably use a refresher course in elementary ed.
Of course, the way they're teaching now, I'd probably fail out of 2nd grade---they do ALGEBRA in 2nd grade here!
I had enough trouble with that in 11th grade!
As for the new lunch box, maybe I could find a vintage Dukes of Hazzard lunchbox. I could stand looking at Tom Wopat while I lick PB&J off my fingers...

Hi Starfall, We've all been there. Not that that helps, but we do understand.
If I told you the number of silly things I say and do in a day, you'd probably be dialing 911 to have them come and take me away.
As for the lunchbox, my favorite choice would be Barbie. I'm from a little older generation.

One time I wrote down the wrong address 3 times in a row.
For the life of me, I couldn't remember my current address.
Hang in there Starfall!

Star...
I actually busted out laughing when I read what you wrote.
"As for the new lunch box, maybe I could find a vintage Dukes of Hazzard lunchbox. I could stand looking at Tom Wopat while I lick PB&J off my fingers..."
You'll have to come over to MY place.
I am, oh yes I am....
The lucky owner of an original Duke Boys lunch box!!!
AND..
Just the other day I took a BIG chance and bought my first jar of peanut butter since they annnounced the salmonella outbreak.

A Dukes lunchbox!!!!!
OMG, that is so cool!
I'll have to hop a rocket and come to the moon just to moon over Bo and Luke.
BTW, I was at a lecture thing at my chiropractor's last night, and she was talking about peanut butter. Of course talking about all the bad stuff that's in most of it (I think it was the hydrogenated oils).
Dang it, I love my JIF and have never found a PB that tastes as good.
And she was going to start on jelly, but she said that's another topic.
And bread too.
What the heck are we supposed to eat????
Think I'll just crawl into my lunchbox and wither away, lol. Especially if Luke can crawl in with me......

Starfall, I thought my brain was getting bad before I was under treatment. It seems since I started treatment, it has packed up and gone on vacation altogether.
Years ago I actually said to a woman... "now which Girl Scout troop is your daughter in?"
She looked at me totally baffled to which I said... Oh, I'm sorry, she's in my troop. ... my brain was just gone for a moment!! (how embarassing!)
Just let the office and teacher at the school know that you have Lyme, and if they get anything that doesn't make sense, please bring it to your attention.
Also, let them know it will get better with time, but you could use a little help and understanding right now. People love to be helpers, and they always appreciate a parent who cares about their child.

Hey Zeb..
Now dats funny!!!
Hey Star...
I guess you are right. We'll have to eat healthy. UG!
So.... instead of bread... we can just lick the peanut butter off our fingers.. and when the jar gets low.. off our knuckles.
Jelly too!
We can share the jars back and forth.
Can you imagine the mess?
And if you are really nice to me..
I'll let you drink some Mountain Dew out of my DUKE BOY's thermos!
Yes I will...
Coo coo coo....
And if you behave.... I'll let you hold my A-Team lunch box too.
BUT JUST FOR A MINUTE!!!
And you gotta wipe that sticky mess off yer hands first!
Last week I was doing my wifes work clothes. I have not worked since 2002 I think. But anyway instead of foldding them I started the washer and was taking clothes from the dryer and putting them right back in the washer. I was half way done when it dawned on me that they were already clean. lol I should wear a lyme cam and look at every night for a good laugh.
