I am also so thankful to God for every day.
In church on Palm Sunday I just wanted to cry because the readings reminded me of just how much Jesus suffered so that he could die for us, be resurrected, and ascend into Heaven to offer all of us forgiveness and eternal life.
There is no better gift than that.
This life is so short compared to eternity.
My suffering is so insignificant compared to His.
Thanks be to God. I love Easter too!

I'm thankful for my husband and two precious boys.
I'm thankful that even though hubby is out of work, we are getting by on the unemployment.
I'm thankful for the woman who came up to me out of the blue today and told me, "The dream has not died. It is all in God's timing.
He will bring glory to Himself through this illness, so do not be discouraged."
I have so many dreams that I feel have just died or I've lost, so I don't know which one she was referring to--maybe all of them--
But I feel a sense of hope that hasn't been there for a while.

Thanks all. This is a beautiful thread. Warms my heart.
I, too, love Easter. Always been such a joyous holiday.
I'm thankful for my family, and for God's grace....around Easter we start to notice it everywhere.

I am so thankful for God's presence in my life, and all the blessings and challenges He has allowed me.
To know that we are loved dearly, and not alone in this struggle of life. That God is with us every step of the way, and would go through anything just to offer us a loving hand.
I think about it this way. God left heaven, (think for a minute how wonderful heaven is), came to earth knowing that those He loved and wanted to save would torture Him and put Him to death.
That's a love beyond comprehension. AWESOME!
Like a billionaire going to the ghettos out of love for others. That's the only way I can equate it.
May you each be blessed with the sure knowledge that you are very special to God, and very important to this world.
You have a plan that no one else can fulfill. Chat with God frequently, He loves to hear from His kids, and remember that He can use anything! Doesn't matter what your life is like, He's in it with you!!

I'm thankful for the beautiful service we attended today. I'm in the choir and we had a trumpet player there for the choir anthem. [and other times as well]
It made me cry because it all sounded so wonderful together!
I love Jesus!
