Thanks you guys! I have been going through a transition.......I may not have LD! It has been a lot to take in and I am still trying to absorb it all.
I may have had a rare reation to a drug 3 years ago, that caused an autoimmune reaction in my body. Not much has been documented concerning this type of thing; but when it came up at my last LLMD visit; he decided that I may possibly have an immunological disorder caused by an antidepressant taken 3 years ago.
Don't freak out, but I am taking steroids (for only 3 weeks), and I am weaning off of those onto plaquenil. Plaquenil is used to treat Malaria and also used in autoimmune illnesses. Another piece of the puzzle is that in 1 year of treating LD, the only time I felt better was while on Malarone, also an anti malarial.
Anyway, this should probably be on the medical side, but I just haven't gotten around to putting it there.
Thanks for the BD wishes!
