Apparently I caught my son's cold or whatever he's had for a week.

I went through a couple days of achiness and a super sore throat, now my nose is stuffy/runny and my eyes are just gushing.

Now I'm nauseated and have diarrhea, and I feel feverish (temp was 98.9 last time I checked--highest it's been in forever!).

We're leaving for VA in 2 days.

What are the chances of getting better till then?

Oh, no!! I have something I take for sickness that is at the health food store.

It is made by "Buried Treasure". And the name is ACF Fast Acting Relief,

It has Vitamin C, Zinc, Echinacea, Osha Root, Usnea Lichen, Elderberry extract, Myrrh, Thyme, Ginger root, white willow bark, and collodial silver.

It is not very expensive and it tastes horrible. But, if I feel like crap (crappier than normal:), that is what I take.

I really hope you get better!

Well..... dang it all Starfall!

I'm so sorry to hear you are nothing more than a big old bucket of bugs right now.

Bet if you soaked in the bath tub, the water would start foaming and creating little air bubbles from the number of bugs you've got swimming around inside you.

I mean, HEY.... they've got to exhale at some point, don't they?

Heck, we could probably put some tropical fish in there with you and not even need an air filter for them.

You could be the prototype for the new "green" aquarium (powering the fish tank using no electric or fossil fuels).. and could be featured on the cover of the magazine "Go Green"....

And maybe even "Fish Beautiful"... in their fold out.

Or we could haul you and your bath tub down to the launch pad where the hot air balloons take off and the bubbles would probably be strong enough to send 2-3 of those big balloons up in flight.

Or better yet... we could take you and your drooling face on a long trip and water the entire Sahara Desert. You would be able to cure their century long drought.

And since by this time you probably look like a a worn down old donkey...

That is assuming you normally don't...

We could send you to a local photo shoot and have your picture plastered all over the place as the "Lyme Poster Person". That would be helpful because normally we all look pretty darn good.

That again is assuming you don't normally look like a worn down old donkey.

As for going to Virginia....

I heard the Governor was reading LymeNet and learned of your visit.

He has called out the National Guard and set up a full border patrol around his state using 580,000 men and woman.

They have your photo plastered all over the place, so if you decide to go, you might consider using a disguise.

Wait.. CNN is now reporting... and it isn't a PERSON they are looking for along the VA border.

It is a worn out old donkey.

So I guess you are safe.

That is assuming you don't normally look like a worn out old donkey.

If you didn't laugh at any of that or it made you mad... remember this.

YOU are the one that said "shoot me" so if you come after me for making fun of you...

My paint ball gun is loaded.

Do you prefer purple or yellow?

Tincup,

If you're going to poke fun at an old grey mule, and offer something like shooting me with a paint gun,

then for God's sake at least get the color right--

I want hot pink.

Then I can look like a punk rock donkey.

As for the governor of VA, I have a friend who lives on the VA border,

and she is a master (mistress) of disguise, so we've got that covered.

He'll never think to stop a hot pink donkey wwearing a Boy George costume

(I'm an 80s chick all the way [lol] ).

Hmmm. As for turning me into an aquarium or something--

toss my gassy 2 year old in there with me, and we can have our own whirlpool/jacuzzi.

As long as he doesn't leave any big turds in the tub like he did a few weeks ago...

nothing like having to rewash 2 kids and then disinfect the tub and 30+ tub toys before church.

[Big Grin]

I keep saying I know this whatever I have has got to be a virus, cuz there ain't no way I have anything bacterial with all the abx I'm on.

Well, I have to go round up my kids who are supposed to be napping but are instead running through the house like maniacs.

Thanks for the laughs. Got any bug spray?

OH MY GOODNESS!

WHAT was I thinking?

You are absolutely right!

That is a beautiful way to go thru the day!

Ya know.. now that I'm thinking about it.... we might be twins who were separated at birth.

I know I've ALWAYS wanted to look like an old worn out hot pink donkey disguised as Boy George too!

[lol]

And since you are such a sweet heart...

Your wish is my command!

Hot pink paint balls it is!

I'll pick up some new ammo and prep myself for your visit.

What fun we will have.

[Big Grin]

PS... As for the gassy kid... it is advised you leave him behind.

No punn intended.

I've thought about feeding hium some beans and strapping him to the roof of the van.

No state trooper would ever be able to pull us over, no way.

[lol] [lol] [lol] [lol]

What a sight that would be!

An old hot pink donkey dressed as Boy George driving an old 1995 Astro Van with a 2 year old strapped to the roof blowing turbo farts out his butt.

I think I'd better take my temperature, because that is a fever induced vision if ever I've had one!
