Why are people answering posts by telling the poster to check their private messages?
When one (me) gets a PM I get an email from Lymenet with the PM & link.
When I go to Lymenet I get a flashing blurb on the left side of page with the "you got a private message"
When I see a post with 1 reply it is usually someone giving that instruction, not the "sent PM" so I would know their question was answered.

I do it "just in case" they don't see their flashing cue.

dmc,
some folks did NOT mark box to receive replies to their posts; that's why it's said plus when we send LLMD info, we tell folks to check there ... they are NEW and have NO idea how this board works.
many still do not know or comprehend ...

This is what I ment. I didn't clarify or simply state it.
They aren't writing that they sent a PM but to "just check you PMs"
I know how difficult it is to understand the whole Lymenet mechanisms. I was just hoping those that send PMs to write that they sent one.
Now I know, whenever I see "check your PMs" it means one was sent & question answered.
