not trying to give to much detail just wondering
what it could be AND do you need a referal to see a gastro doc, or is it based on your insurance or is it like a nero and need a referal no matter what?

Shelly,

It sounds like it may be gallbladder related. Some meds can bother your gallbladder. I know for me, Ceftin screwed up my gallbladder back in 2002.

Gallbladder issues can account for the stool color abnormalities. Is the pain kind of like a burning that is hard to get rid of?? I had some gallbladder issues with my last pregnancy and read to drink lemon juice. It did seem to help some, after that I just avoided high fat foods (besides avocados).

If you have to have a referral for specialists for your insurance, then you probably will have to. Some insurances don't require a referral.

I would try to see a doc though, esp if you would have nausea and vomiting.

Good luck =)

Hi Shelly,

I'm glad that you got an ultrasound to rule it out!

I've been OK. Up and down the whole summer. Had a LOT of good days and some really good days! I am attributing it to the cold laser treatments I got (only got 2 treatments, but herxed hard each time for up to 10 days after!). A few times I thought maybe the treatment was making me worse, made my heart get weird a few times after treamtent, but when the herx was done, it was like someone turned on a light switch, it was nice!

I'm taking Colloidal silver right now and will start rifing soon, then add in the cold laser treatments. I think I didn't have enough keetes killed off when I started the cold laser and the treatment was pretty rough, so I'm trying to get the load down. I will probably start Doxy soon again too when the sun goes away in Ohio (which will be in just a few weeks, lol!).

How are you doing, well besides this pain that you are having?

I'm glad you wrote today, I'd been wondering how you were, hadn't heard from ya in awhile =)

Hi Shelly,

Yellow stool isn't a good thing. Do you have a fever? Any chance this could be some weird virus, or are you on any new medications???

I think you should go to the doctor. You could always take a picture of the stool (I know that's gross, but a doc wouldn't think anything of it...in nursing school, I learned that medical people LOVE talking about poop, lol!).

Also if you've had any weight changes, that would be good to note to the doc.

You could also let your LLMD know. I think with C-diff it's more black stool, but I am not sure if it could present with other colors.

Let me know if you go to a doc and how you are doing...you're making me worried for you [kiss]

I drank one lemon with a little bit of water, every day. It worked for me.

If it was really bad, I would drink several lemon/water a day.

Stomach pain and belching can be symptoms of gastritis, or inflammation of the stomach.
Symptoms of gastritis

If the bile duct is blocked, the stools may be pale or yellow.
Bile from the liver gives stools their brown color.

I developed stomach pain and belching after taking Ibuprofen for several years for pain.
I had to stop taking it.

Aspirin can cause gastritis too.
