I live in Canada and have just made an appointment to see a nurse practitioner in Dr. L office in NY. I have been struggling with progressive symptoms for over 3 years, but have only been diagnosed with Lyme a week ago. I am very nervous about the travel and costs and treatment, but feel that I need to go the the States to get the tx I need. I just want to be well again. I don't remember what is is like. Anyone has any feedback about the office and the nurses?

Hi hilly -
Welcome to LymeNet.
#1 Rule - We do not state Lyme physicians names in full on this Board (use first letter of last name), in order that they be protected and we, including you, can all receive and continue treatment (tx) for TBD's. (Please go in and edit your post. Please...)
Any feedback on your docs protocols should be done by PM. (Go into your profile to enable, if not done already.)
I would say we're happy to see you here, but none of us are really happy to be here. We all feel your pain and have hopes of wellness just like you.
The best of everything to you.
