Hellooooo <<<<< Lyme-r Family >>>>>,
Jus' call us Mr.n Mrs. Murphy's Law KlutznCrip .
TxC' slipped in the tub and his arthritis flared. His knee is hugely swollen...so off toDr.we go.
I get my wrist checked while we are there...as it hasn't healed properly, after thelast injury.
The good news..i only have to have thumb and wrist, imobilized for 2 weeks this time... 14 yrs ago...it was in a cast for teh summer...
if this works my 'not broken, but exceedingly inflamed ' thumb and wrist area[ DeQuireveins tennosinovitis ] will get better.
BAd news as soon as VA gets there act togeterh TxC has to have a knee repalcement.
Sorry for teh typo flubs...
faded TxC is sitting in his easychair/couch ...his knee is still really inflamed...he's on heavy meds...no going to work today at least...
We'll see waht happens tommorrow, meanwhile more housework will remain undone... ah well...
Allhugs and prayers welcome...

bonny,
you have succeeded in taking my place "you're an accident just looking for a place to happen" says my hubby all the time for me... lol
seriously, sorry to hear txc hurt his knee also. 24 hr. ice; 24 hrs. moist heat from a veteran of 46 years with knee problems from basketball.
have him wiggle his toes and flex them often so blood clots don't set in; he'll be getting a head start on this exercise for his upcoming knee surgery. hugs/kisses to you both...

Thanks for the commiserations, and exercise info'!!!
TxC' has injured his knees so many times...it's not funny. He's always injured knees and ankles easily. I feel badly for him!
My wrist is from tripping over teh heat-vent register 2 wks ago. that's a few weeks after teh whiplash from Sihayah doggy yanking me off teh backporch.
And teh Dr.we went to for teh whiplash and back sprain put me on the wrong anti-inflammatory, for a diabetic...at least now I know why I've been so darn tired lately.
Will check back later...

Thanks for teh prayers, hugs, and warm well wishes...!!!
Gotta go ice my wrist/hand...Lol... then I'll have cold swampthing fingers...
TxC is resting in for a few more minutes...had lots of tangled vines and moss [er...uh wires and electrical stuff] in the den yesterday.
TxC 'was doing some training for work and they had to figure out how to get the laptop company sent, to work ,so he could see and hear some of teh training and reports.
MAybe he'll get to actually go to his office part of next week. He has a VA appt. Tuesday,to decide waht can be done toward knee replacement.
Swollen Swampthing Silvwerwolfi signing off for now... [thanks again!!!]

Thank You for the prayers!!!
TxC' had his 1st VA appt. yesterday, looks to e along drawn out process...get his med' records...go thru lots of red tape and such...we'll see waht happens.
I don't think my arm is healing very well yet...only me and TxC' here, and he can't get up and around very well w/ crutches..so I do things for him.
Not supposed to move wrist and thumb...the tendon is too inflamed, but there is no body else around...so I try to be super careful.
I know it'll take longer to heal...but TxC must have the help...so I hang in here, and try to be cautious!!!
I'll check back later...
Jus Silverwolfi-swampthing [hmmm, I've heard of 'swamp fox'...is there a swamp wolf???? LOL]

Thank You for the tho'ts and prayers!!!
Sadly we got a call that TxC is being laid off the end of this Month, Oct. Half the case workers that do his sort of work in Idaho are losing their jobs too,lay offs and budget cuts.
It was a shock, but we've been thru tough times before.
We hope to come thru this, and be able to not have to move again...if possible.

I was so sorry to read about the layoff.
You have such a wonderful spirit and light, very strong indeed. I hope everything works itself out sooner rather than later.
Take care in the meantime.

So how did you get the nickname "Swampthing"?
Are you wandering from swamp to swamp??
Are you a wolf by night and a swamp creature by day??? Do you only wander during the full moon?
Maybe a pic would help, or would you need three? =)

<<<<< Melodym' >>>>>,
LOL ,Thanks for making me laugh!!! Needed that!!!
Let's see, actually it's sorta a mind swamp... because of finding out about being in 'Mold and Mildew Manner' in a few places we've lived...one place was rather severe!!!
I have always loved huskies, and wolves, and bears, among the many kinds of animals I like!!!
And when ya puts it all together w/ both TxC and I having family in Louisiana...
[er..LoOOosianna in mah best wolfish howl ] ,and various other area of the deep south. And we lived in Louisiana for almost 7 years [late '70's early '80's]...
I guess the mysterious bayous' and misty swamps are as much in my soul as the, gorgeous mountains and deserts are!!!
And I cannot get enough of the moon in all of her phases ...for all of the problems on this old earth...our Creator made it wonderful and awesome...
There have always been interesting tales of unusual things in deep forest and mysterious bayou...
Who knows what interesting species have yet to be discovered!!!
Now lets see, I'd prolly need ,at least, three pictures LOL...especially if y'all caught me at full Moon...
Would I be seen as part of a team of wolves in a mist? Perhaps a glowing fairy like swamp-thing, w/ long Spanish moss for hair [suction cups and feathery wings might be handy ...I could be all terrain...]???
Or maybe a 'Robynia of the Hood',French-Indian and Scots-Irish Pirate-tess Princess...stealing bad moods away and bringing laughter or at least a smile!!!
The Wolfish Swamp areas, and the Swampthing-Robynia-Pirate Fairy bayou's I'm sure intersect at some point...
Oops,my odd little imagination is showing!!!
Just Silverwolfi-swamp-thing...me paw may be swollen still...but i mus' have fun...in teh midst of these trials!!!
