IT occured to me that not everybody wakes up in pain every where every day. I do not want to move when I wake up because it hurts. I never realized it before and I just accommodated for it. I have been recently diagnosed and until then I did not think I was sick.

I still remember even though it's been over 10 years...what it felt like to wake up refreshed.

I was talking to my mother the other day, who is 33 years older than I am, and I realized that due to my Lyme, we have a lot in common when it comes to aches, pains, and stamina.

Just prior to being diagnosed with Lyme, I would have conversations with my grandmother about our shared complaints!
But yes LuluBellesMom- I sometimes have trouble understanding that it's not normal to be in pain. To be honest, even now, I don't really believe that I'll every be able to walk without worrying about my tendons, or shin splints. There's just a point where you accept that it's part of your life...

My mom also is similiar to me. I wonder if my illness has aged my body by 20 yrs? Does my mom have a tick illness, I suspect bartonella in my whole family?
As kids we camped out all the time. As adults we all spent time at lake homes.
