The body is doing that thing when it is just tooo weak to handle things...will not go into details.

but, need the symptoms to stop and to get my strength back.

need some quiet, uninterrupted time to do this also.

And need the strength to get rosie out to toilet with out the body doing that thing it is doing.

Some sleep would be good too and to be able to hold down some applesauce.

Praying for you kam!!!

May you find the strength you need to take care of rosie.

May you find rest and peace to heal.

May you have improved health, lessening symptoms and the ability to eat.

Wishing you better days ahead. Keep the faith.

Thanks. things look a bit better. But, I have not tried to get up and get in the kitchen to get some applesauce.

I was able to take Rosie out before sunrise so she can toilet but came back and the symptoms started back up.

Is there anyone you can call in times like this, so you're at least able to eat?

I'm concerned about you . . .

Able to take a much needed shower this am.

I really needed the shower chair but didn't think of it until it was too late.

It did remind me that I am doing better as when I first moved here I needed the shower chair all the time.

Now, I just need it once and a while.

It also amazes me that when we go through rough times how the time element gets scued. (sp?)

I think all the times we have been there before get added on and it seems like so much longer than what it really is.

Thanks. Able to hold food down yesterday. Hoping to continue to do so today and continue to get back to "lyme normal"

I have had these times before...thinking it is from over tasking the body but not sure.

I have the inflamed brain and things are coming out both ends at the same time....not a pretty picture.

Guessing others go through this too.

Getting depends at the store as soon as I can as last time I got so weak I could no longer get out of bed or even call for help or lean over to use the trash can next to the bed.

Not that any one would have been able to help and moving me would have made things worse.

Scary ****...literally!

Glad it did not get that bad this time.

Able to get Rosie out to toilet via the reclining power chair 3 times yesterday.

She is really going to be ready to kick up her heels off leash once I get strong enough to drive her someplace again.

thanks cbb and aliyalex....i know others are dealing with much more.

i was finally able to call the power chair repair guy today so I could get the indoor power chair up and running again.

he said he would return with a new meter. he got wrong 4 wrong readings on something and figured it was his meter and not the power chair system.

MOstly just extreme weakness now.

Damn...down again. Doing Ok until the new housekeeper called twice...very verbal person..I don't do verbal.

Closed door and told her she needed to stop talking to me.

She has opened door 3 times now asking questions.

I have a list for her...but she is not an independent worker.

She is one who needs verbally communicate.

Brain is tasked and close to the throwing up and have all ready had the loose stools.

Thankful I at least have the depends if needed. HOpefully I will not need them.

She will be out of here in 30 more minutes.

I totally understand what you're saying.

When my brother was going through chemo for his 3rd bout with cancer, the housekeeper was vacuuming. He went over, jerked the cord out of the socket and said "You ARE through, aren't you?"
She meekly said "I am now."

Since it's been more than 30 minutes, I hope you're feeling better.
It does help to know the cleaning was done.

Rosie's a smart dog.
Maybe she could learn to clean?

cbb....i tried putting the laundry in this am and couldn't do it.

service dogs can be trained to take the laundry out of the dryer but that has got to take awhile....

There have been times, I have considered training Rosie to do this on my lower functioning times but have yet to do it.

i was wishing this am that I could teach her to put the laundry in the washer this am. HA!

I understand what you're going through kam. I really needed to get to the grocery store today but just not possible. I'm also counting down the minutes till it's time to get my daughter to music class hoping I make some kind of miraculous turn around today so that I can bring her. It also happens to be a make up class due to one that we missed.

I guess I shouldn't complain as you sound like you're in a worse place than I am right now but I certainly have been where you are and hope to never slide back that far again. I was just crying and my poor 3 yr. old was comforting me. She shouldn't have to do that and I hate what my stupid disease does to her.

Really really hope you get stronger soon! Even though I still have bad days, I am much much much better than I was. Just having a bad day. I was where you are though and have made progress. [group hug] [group hug] [group hug]

Thanks randibear.

Laura...were you able to take your daughter to music class??

I stayed down all day but got my strength back tonight and was able to walk from apartment front doors to car and then be on my feet for 5 min at a paved path, rest and walk back.

Good to finally be able to get out of the house. It was an hour outing est...i think it has been a week without my strength.

I too ma doing better than in the past. I would not have been able to take Rosie out in the reclining power chair to toilet in the past without throwing up and feeling nauseaou and out of it.

Just very, very weak this time. Amazing how these symptoms keep changing.

The power chair is still broke. I got a few phone calls today but no one left a message.

I wasn't not up to being on the phone.

But, would assume if it was the repair man he would have left a message.

Glad to hear you got out today for a bit. Interesting how you said you got some strength back tonight.

I feel my best in the evenings and was able to take my daughter to class. I'm so glad b/c I hate when she misses out on stuff b/c of me which is often.

It's like I have crashing episodes. I felt like I was going to pass out all day and I'm scared to take my daughter out when I'm like that. If I ever think there's any question whether I can take her out safely we stay home. My cell is also on me at all times and my husband knows he is to always be available to answer his phone in case I need him.

Anyway, this isn't about me. Hope things turn around for you very soon and stay turned around. You are in my prayers.

I'm always amazed at what service dogs can learn to do, but I didn't know they could help with laundry.

I'm so glad you're feeling somewhat stronger tonight. I hope you'll be even stronger tomorrow.

You and my Lyme Buddies are always in my prayers.

Laura...when I am "lyme normal" I can do simple things until about 9 or 10 am and then again after 4 or 5 ish.

Glad you were able to take your daughter to class. Amazing now what brings us joy.

It is tricky keeping ourselves and others out of harms way.

cbb...pretty cool. Rosie was not trained but is tuned into my brain...not the weakness in my body or the pain..

..but when the brain is going she will stop in her tracks and refuse to walk along side of me in the power chair.

I have pretty much learned my limits now so she doesn't do this very often now.

I know to call to get myself into a store and ask someone to call the tram if I am too far from home or if close know to get myself back home..in order to keep both Rosie and I out of harms way.

My brain use to just go somewhere. It was strange.

Then I would find myself in the middle of the street and wonder how I got there...or down the road several blocks and not recall being present those several blocks....

Able to empty the dishes out of the dishwasher this am. Resting now and then will see about breakfast.

I think I am getting back to "lyme normal".

Part of the set back is due to my mom's death last Wednesday or early Thursday morning.

We were not close but it still hurts. She is being buried tomorrow. I will go to the grave site when I am stronger.

I even have had some good memories of my mom start to pop in my head. Most of the memories of my mom are not good.

My health has been slowly going down hill since spring thought. Thought it was due to the heat of summer. But, it is colder now and I still have not gotten back to where I was...which was being able to go for morning walks for 5, 10 or 15 min in the quiet forest.

Thanks Joann. I am improving and I was able to get out last night and do my 5 min, rest and then 5 min back to the car.

That makes life so much more doable.

Hoping I will be able to do that tomorrow. Today is out.
