I wanted to let you all know that thanks to you, I found my old doctor in Colorado - I was looking in the wrong city. (But I got the letter "L" right!) I also found a great second M.D. who is a little closer - both are wonderful. And, you all are right...there are NO LLMDs in the entire State of New Mexico, very few in UT, AZ and CO. How sad.
Thank you again for your very fast response, I have an appointment in about a week. I'm eternally grateful.

It is not true there are NO doctors in NM>
I was just contacted by the Lyme Group there and they sent me a list...
I have talked to one of them on the phone and they seem to be very supportive and they prescribe IV abx and the works..
Are you in NM? I am from there and was there recently.
