i got back yesterday at 2:00. flight was a bit choppy.
the princess line was exceptional -- beautiful room with balcony and our steward was very nice.
i liked the fact that this was a older crowd with not a lot of young children and teenagers. mostly 45 and up.
the food was exceptional. i only gained 3 pounds. ate a lot of fruit and fish. breakfast was fruit and scrambled eggs. i really tried to avoid the sugar and was pretty good at it.
i was still coughing alot and having lower abdominal pain. i ended up with traveler's diahhrea i guess and had to find preparation H!! can you imagine trying to find that stuff in st. thomas? i mean, it's practically non-existent.
the water was smooth so there was no sea sickness and that was really nice.
weather in the ports was mid 80's and i wasn't used to it but did well. scenery was absolutely out of this world.
mike's one sister was her usual uh, self. she's like an energizer bunny on steroids. at 6 in the morning it can be a little hard to take.
the other sister is very sweet. she's going through a horrendous divorce so she just mostly sat and read and and went shopping with me.
i was really bad tho and went over our customs by a lot but the oficer coming back was great and because we were so precise, he let us go and waived the difference. whew....
i'm just recuperating from the trip, doing laundry, cleaning the house (which i didn't do before we left) and shopping for groceries. i cleaned out the fridge before we left.
mike is tired too but he's enthusiatic about taking another one. only i want it to be with just the two of us. ya know it's hard being with other people because you can't really do what you want. he wanted to take a lot of the land tours and all but couldn't cause they didn't have the money, so he just shopped with me. it was very hard on him so i agreed to take another one and we would just do things he wanted to do.
i'm trying the biaxin and flagyl since i'm still coughing up crud and running a slight fever so i'm hoping i can take them and not get yeast.
got to stick really hard on a diet now and get serious about this lyme business.

Good to sea you back (sorry mispelling intentional), bad humour you think! Well, try this, lets have a lymenet cruise on the SS Chronic. Yes we could call it the lyme boat instead, the famous Dr. B. could play Captain Stubing. Now wouldn't that be cool. I leave the rest of the lyme boat crew to the lymenet personnel department (moderators i guess).
I guess a cruise my be great health wise to, just being in the ocean air is very therapeutic. I was wondering if you noticed a positive change, I know I felt great after a 1 weeks stay in fort myers florida about a month ago.

you know know that you mentioned it, i breathed better.
at night here in texas, when i lay down one side of my nose stops up, then i roll over and the other side stops up.
i guess it was the salt air or something. i also noticed less joint pain.
could have been the stress or something, maybe diet, but i did feel better. and hey, i didn't have to cook and he got plenty of food. he loved the vegetables and fruit and bread. that's his favorite, lots of bread. so he was happy.
now i'll start planning another one for next year...

( I could lead the activities! ) Randi and I could be in charge of that!
Look out Y'ALL!!! Two Texans in charge!! Wooo Hoooo!!!!!
Huh... Not sure of the voluntary activities leadership going on here, but I think a cruise is really a great idea! I'm serious(ly brain damaged, to be sure).
Possible activities: Water Exercise, Massage Therapy (oh, yes, please), Big Band / Easy Fox Trot Dancing, Short Day Trips (no more than 4 hours, as we old folks like our naps on the beach under a shade tree)... There are all sorts of things that low energy folks can cook up. (Oh yeah, Eating!!! )
Possible challenges: The Cruise Crew trapped out to sea with Lyme cruisers.
Welcome back r'bear. Missed ya!
