I just read on facebook where a relative has Jason Statham on her Christmas wish list to Santa and a Top Fuel Funny Car.
So, I thought I would start a fun thread on What is on Your Christmas Wish List.
I know all of us would like to have better health and all that goes along with it.
So let's dream a little.
I would like to travel....see the National Parks across the US during off seasons...don't like crowds.
Hire Don to help me get the old boys' ranch up and running for those who need a place to come to in order to heal.
Have the backing of a wealthy person to help out. Have a nurse full time on hand. A great gluten free/sugar free chef on hand full time.
Horses for those who are well enough to ride or just be around the horses and help out.
Chickens for fresh eggs and food.
Goat's for fresh goat's milk and cheese and fudge.
A full time housekeeper/caregiver on hand to help those who need it with laundry, changing the beds, vacuuming, doing dishes etc.

I'd like a babysitter
a job for hubby
a trip to Ireland (have to lose my fear of flying for that)
a trip throughout the US
a restaurant trip out at least once a week
and ofcourse my health--especially my eyes.
Oh, and I'd like to write and publish a book.

Someone to feed and groom my horse
Someone to go to the grocery store for me
Someone to do the housework to my high standards
A caregiver for my husband so I can have a break
Eight hours of sleep each night without taking pills
Do I sound tired? Totally!

Well, lets see... I am sure there is several things.... and I will have to ponder on it as my mind is "lyme fried" for right now but until then....
the first things that comes to mind until then is..............
If u get all the things u want Kam.... I just want to come live with you....
It sounds great
that is...of course,
after starfall I get back from our trip to Ireland, and I have finished cleaning Merrygirls house, getting groceries for joalo, sprinkling "get well dust" on sutergrl (don't worry I 'll order extra for everyone), and drop off lynetutu Wii at yelllowstone.
God Bless all. I wish I could make all your dreams come true... if nothing else I really wish I could make us ALL well again.
Please keep the faith
Love and Kisses,
karen (:
Isn't it great to dream though.. without that and faith I guess we wouldn't have anything
P.S. Starfall...while we are in Ireland we'll set up an appointment with a publisher who will give your husband a job and he will be in charge of publishing your first book... Heay and if you wight it on lyme I'm sure everyone here will buy it... YOU'LL BE RICH

My only wish is for a miracle for my lymie. The psych says she has run out of options and my lymie thinks she has been sent home to die.
Well the Dr pretty much led her that way..and said if you don't get more ects, there is nothing more to be done. lmt

lymemomtooo-you can't give up. She needs and LLMD. I will pray for you both.
My wish list:
I want to be a kindergarten teacher
cruise to Alaska
another healthy baby
a sewing machine (this one might actually happen)
my health (of course)

My health (and maybe some brain function too
Sorry, lymetoo, but I am getting a Wii (& Wii Fit). My husband is always so clueless about getting me anything, so when he asked that's what I told him and he said "order it".
I like to exercise every day, and really prefer to do it outside, but the older I get, the less I can tolerate the cold and the treadmill thing is really, really getting old!

Like everyone else, good health for me and all the others I am sure have lyme but aren't treated.
I want the IDSA guidelines totally rewritten to include the option of ILADS guidelines, freeing ILADS LLMD to practice freely and without fear of reprisal.
I want to have health insurance that covers Dr visits and prescriptions.
I want my son to get last minute orders from the Army saying that he doesn't have to go to Iraq for a year afterall.
I want all family and friends who are holding grudges and need to forgive someone for something, to do so.
I want peace on earth.
I want everyone to treat everyone with love and compassion.
I want the poor to have enough.
I want the sick to be healed.
I want the lonely to be comforted.
I want the hungry to be fed.
I want love to prevail.....that's all I want.

I pray that everyone gets at least one of these things off of their wish list in the future. Especially health.
Lymemomtoo, my heart breaks for you and your daughter. How old is she? Does she need someone to talk to? I'm 20 years old. If she's around my age, I'd love to talk to her. Even if she's not and she's up for talking, even just a short email, let me know. Thinking of you two.
For Christmas...
I want my Dad to be able to keep his house.
I want my Mom to be able to pay her bills.
I want to see progress.
I want to be able to leave my house again. I just want to be able to go to the grocery store with my Mom.
I want to be able to breathe normally.
I want to gain some weight back (come on, Santa could spare a few pounds couldn't he? I'm taking weight donations)
I want to be able to eat. I want nothing more than to sit down to a meal with my family or friends.
I want to be able to spend just an hour with my friends and family, chemical sensitivity free.
I want to start hearing about other lyme patients improving.
I want to see more success stories here.
Happy Holidays you guys. <3

Of course we all want our health to be excellent, but I'll concentrate on the question at hand:
1. A NEW boyfriend. When I say "NEW", ideally, one who understands that because I've battled TBD's, I can never be the person that I was before the illness(es). A boyfriend that doesn't whine, pout, or become ill-tempered because he doesn't understand why I think and feel the way I do. (Yes, I know I'm truly asking for a miracle with this one...LOL!)
2. A highly compatible traveling companion for traveling to various European locations. This could be the "new" boyfriend, but doesn't necessarily have to be.
3. To be wealthy enough to retire to do / study / choose whatever line of work I want.
Ah, dream on... It's allowed you know.

Aside from wanting all of you to regain your health as I did ....
I enjoy making the holiday happen for my family. Preparing the food, giving gifts, etc. It's fun how much joy it brings the children. I love living vicariously through them on Christmas morning.
All I really want for myself is a Pilates book, and I couldn't remember the author to tell my husband, so when I saw it at Barnes and Noble I bought it for my husband to give to me, LOL!!

I want more l.e.d. candles that use AAA or AA batteries. (I kind of help Santa out every time Rite Aid has theirs on sale at half off, buy a couple for myself, I've got 9 or 10 lit right now and that doesn't include the button battery powered tea lights)
I want my husband to be willing to go to a (sex)therapist to work on our intimacy issues. Between me being too sick for sex so often and his unknown issues, I know that this is going to be a long long road once we get working together on it.
I want santa to bring me wildflowers in my yard.
I want santa to put those "managers special", "reduced for quick sale", "50%off" stickers on the items at the grocery store that I need, so I can buy more with our limited income.
I want santa to find me flower garden stencils to replace the ones I wore out. I can't find them online or in the stores. I paint tshirts with them. It is great therapy.
