If you get a chance read the book Same Kind of Different as Me. It is a true Christian story about a rich white man who befriends a poor black homeless man. Illness plays a part in this story and lot of wisdom is in this book. (by Ron Hall and Denver ?)

I read "The Shack". That was an amazing read.
Made me realize--whatever my picture is of God, it is equally as ridiculous as the examples in the book (although the books examples or my thoughts, do reflect small parts of facets of God's character, etc, kind of like a diamond).
God is so much bigger than any picture I have or will ever have of Him!!!!!

That's true! We can never have a complete "picture" of Him.

I loved "90 Minutes in Heaven" and his follow up books...
"Heaven is Real" by Don Piper and " Daily Devotions Inspired by 90 Minutes in Heaven" by Don Piper.
I just bought "Chicken Soup for the Soul: Stories of Faith" today.

I just read "Same Kind of Different as Me". It was so good! Everyone should read this.
I also liked "Three cups of tea". Very eye opening.
Thank you all for great reading suggestions. I'd love to hear some more too.
