Hi All
How can it be if I'm supposed to be in the recovery stage and still have bad days.

today I felt jittery, my rib pain has kicked back in. Trying not to freak since that doesn't help.

I'm on some natural supplements to help with my sluggish thyroid. Which is the meds from Wilson protocol.

I felt like my heart was racing, hyper, like everything was going if fast pace.

I feel a little better now but horrible the earlier part of the day.

Any thoughts?

I'm on omnicief and tindimax.

I can't take getting sick again.

Please help and shed some insight into this. As I'm totally puzzled.

those symptoms could be from over active thyroid, like you were on too much meds.

Recovery stage? What is that? I thought you were just getting started??

Are you on armour thyroid??

It can certainly make your heart race! You should call your dr to let him know what it is doing to you.

I had, and continue to have, a lot of ups and downs with treatment. You're right, it is no fun unraveling and getting sick again but knowing that we can improve is what keeps me going.

Recently, I had a day that was so much better than my other good days it made me realize that what I have been rating as an 8 is really just a 6. I'm 14 months into treatment and just starting to realize what recovery might even be like!

And sadly, I know I'm not out of the trenches yet and that I'll probably flare/relapse again and go back down to a 2.

If you need to get sick again, you'll handle it. I've tried to put my recovery on a calender and it just doesn't work. Accepting that lack of control is not the same as giving up or giving in.

Hi all,
thanks for the kind words.

I will call the doctor regarding my symptoms. Perhpas the natural thyroid meds are making my thyroid act crazy. It sure seems that way.

Wonko, you are right if I have a relapse/flare can handle it for sure. Since I know what I have. It's still like you know, frustrating.

Little difference between prescription and natural when it comes to RESULTS of what effect they have on the thyroid function.
