Ok, For a really stuuupid question.

One of my new supplements my dr has me taking is

Xymogen Ossopan MD
the container says it is

Calcium 800 mg
Magnesium 400 mg
vit d 200 mg (vit d as cholecalciferol)

MicroCrystalline hydro concertrate 200 mg

He has me taking it for the cal/magnesium.
and I am suppose to take

2 capsules am
2 capsules pm

I've started with half dosage because I don't like starting so many things (so much) at once.

What I was wondering and dont know is:

It says on the bottle that the serving size is
4 capsules...

so does that mean it takes 4 capsule to get the total mg of each above supplement/vitamin?

Ie: 4 capsules = 800 mg calcium
4 capsules = 400 mg magnesium etc

thus making the 1 capsule I take only equal

200 mg calcium
100 mg magnesium
etc???

Thanks,
Karen

P.S. I know its probably a stupid question but this comes from someone who hardly ever took an aspirin B.L. (before lyme) [confused] [shake]

Yes, you are right (I pulled up the Xymogen website to see the label). The bottle says that the dose is 4 capsules so that means you need to take 4 capsules to get the total 800mg calcium, 400mg mag, 50mg vit D.

And it's not a stupid question. You were just clarifying the information to make sure that you are taking your supplement properly. That is actually a very wise thing to do.
