Was advised by LLMD to start taking Oncoplex (broccoli seed extract) in order to improve phase II liver detox.
He also asked me to stop using chlorella, NAC, and ALA because of their suspected link to possible mercury redistribution (have not removed amalgams yet), and substitute these with Intestinal Metal Detox or IMD:
I just followed your link for IMD. I had not heard of that specific product, but it looks very, very similar to Biopure's Microsilica (format, instructions, and price).
My husband's LLMD currently has him on the Microsilica for some mild chelation while we clean up a host of other ills. My husband has a mouth full of amalgams, although his mercury levels have come down a lot with the use of other chelators.
Interestingly, after using the Microsilica, he experienced some improvement in cognitive symptoms. A nutrititionist told us that there are brain-gut connections (sorry, not a very technical re-tell here!), so that actually didn't seem as strange as it sounds.
My husband has also started back on chlorella, at LLMD's suggestion, and has had some improvement in his typical feeling of early morning toxic build-up.
I know there are a range of opinions on what type of chelation is safe with amalgams in the picture. If you trust your LLMD, I would follow his/her lead on this.
Lastly, I have ordered other products from MHP, and have always been pleased with the company. In fact, they're on my "to-call" list today.
Best to you, Viva

Just to clarify, MHP sells but does not manufacture their products. Still, it's always nice to deal with a company who is knowledgeable, reliable, and gets your order out to you in a timely way.

I took that for a while, because it is also supposed to clear up H pylori stomach infections. I had no idea that it improved liver function as well. I did pretty well on it, which is a nice surprise because I don't tolerate meds, suppliments, or herbs very well. I don't think it cleared up my H pylori completely though. But perhaps it supported my liver!
