so i went to see what i thought was a great docter and he told me i am fine. not really, after having antibiotic infusion and a steriod shot for a month i still feel the same. in pain 24/7, no energy, super depressed and just feeling crappy. my husband tells me "Well u must be ok, the doc says so." so now he is looking at me like i am crazy. my doc wants me to double up on my pain meds and start taking anti-depression meds and call him in a month. what am i suppossed to do?

Find a new doc.

Now hubbys....IME many men ignore problems + when another guy says something is OK they often believe that without questioning.

So I am not sure what the best thing is to do about that. Perhaps ladies here will hame better ideas than me.

Find an LLMD. Go to "seeking a doctor."

Give your husband the movie "Under Our Skin."

Read, read and read. Learn about lyme disease and coinfections.

Even the very best and most brilliant doctors are clueless about lyme.

Whenever my husband complains about having a ache or pain I remind him that I would trade places with him anytime. He watched the movie "Under Your Skin" and he has been supportive, however he drives me crazy when he ask stupid question like "Oh your having a bad day", no every day is bad and every day I am in pain. I told him that I wish that he could just feel a small amount of the pain I feel, he wouldn't even be able to get out of bed! Ha!
Hang in there!
