I know that sometimes LD and the coinfections cause insomnia. In my case, I have a huge problem in controlling my circadian rhythm, my sleep/wake cycle. Sometimes, I sleep like the dead for more than 12 hours, which drive me crazy because I have a life to live.
A lot of times, I'm a total vampire. I'm very nocturnal, which I don't mind too much. But my hubby sleeps at night and I don't wish to make too much noise that would wake him or keep him from sleeping.
I'm not easily awakened because I'm stone deaf. Hehe. I was wondering if you have this problem with LD.

I seem to go back and forth between "I can't sleep" and "I can't stop sleeping".
I still work, though, so my wake cycle stays the same no matter what my sleep cycle's doing.

Ugh! I am backwards too! I hate it cause my husband goes to bed early and wakes up early. Most nights I am up until 4 or 5 am and then have to get my kids up for school at 6:30 am and then go back to sleep from 8am until almost 2pm.
But sometimes, like this week, I am sooo tired and feel like I need to sleep all the time. It's still hard to get to sleep early though.
My son, who has lyme also, has insomnia but he's getting better so it's less often. It used to be really bad!!
