Topic: anyone from North Carolina want to ride-share to see LymeMD soon?

I want to make an appointment to see LymeMD and I'm just trying to figure out how that would work for my finances. I can't drive my own car that far. I can certainly help drive (and help with gas money, etc) if someone else is going up. I MIGHT have places to stay up in DC or northern VA or could split a hotel room.
As side benefits: I'm in semi-OK shape now and can help if something goes wrong on the road (ie changing a tire if you get a flat or something), don't USUALLY get lost, can bring a bunch of gluten-free/low-carb snacks, am not a smoker and am fairly fragrance-free, etc)
Is anyone from NC or southern Virginia making an appointment with LymeMD in a month or so who would be interested in a co-driver/gas money help in exchange for giving me a ride there and back? I haven't made my appointment yet but they had quite a few available last time I called.
