"The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of all the earth.
He never grows weak or weary.
No one can measure the depths of his understanding.

He gives power to the weak
and strength to the powerless.
Even youths will become weak and tired,
and young men will fall in exhaustion.

But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength.
They will soar high on wings like eagles.
They will run and not grow weary.
They will walk and not faint."

Isaiah 40:28-31 (NLT)

Thank you daisyrlb.

I appreciate your taking the time to remind all who are looking to God for strength and hoping in Him that He does have what we need; we only must wait for Him and trust in Him.

Have a blessed day.

Marrit, Thank you.

It was amazing how you took 12 lines of scripture and boiled them down to one sentence--a sentence with a powerful God punch!

WOW--He does have everything we need!

MorningSong, I'm so glad to see you! [Smile]

It's one of my favorites too. One of the things that rocks me deeply in those verses are two little words "He gives"--THAT is our God!

I want to be more like Him!

Yesterday at church I heard a new song. So beautiful.

I wanted to be able to look up the song on YouTube so jotted down a few words:

I called
You answered
And You came to my rescue
And I wanna be where You are

Found it on YouTube too...be blessed

"But be sure to fear the Lord and faithfully serve Him. Think of all the wonderful things He has done for you." 1 Samuel 12:24 NLT

As I think of all the wonderful things He has done for me, WOW daily, I can't help but "fear" Him--stand in awe, have great respect--not to mention thank and worship Him!! [woohoo]

"This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:24

This is the BEST day of the rest of your life, then tomorrow is the BEST day of the rest of your life, and then the next day is the BEST...(well, you get the idea)! [Big Grin]

My prayer for you--no matter what is going on, on the outside, have a great BEST kind of a day on the inside in Jesus!

Dekrator, "Bright", "blessed" = good words. WOW, I appreciate you and your kind comments and back at you x10! [Big Grin]

Lymetoo, I like to dance (before the Lord)! That E.E. Bruce quote is so good. I would copy and past Tincup's dancer here but since I don't know how instead [spinning smile]

Just finished watching an interview on Hour of Power with Lucille O'Neal, the mother of Shaquille O'Neal.

She shares, "I used to have a 'Mental Welfare' state of thinking meaning I looked to everyone else for happiness...God is the strength of my happiness and everything else...God is my 'Mental Wealth' state and it has nothing to do with money."

Be blessed too:
