As some of you know I'm in Italy treating with the Bionic 880, using borrelia nosodes and I was about to start using my own blood. The first treatment hit me hard, but the second and third did not. We even tried changing the frequency.

Originally when I arrived I had a Crohn's Disease flare-up, which you know I attribute to the immense sress my family put me under prior to arriving.

Well, I got it under control, but it took me 3 weeks. Yesterday evening, right before my treatment this morning, I again flared-up and have been in bed since. I missed my treatment. Treatment with the Bionic isn't simply. It's not like you pick it up any day you like. I ahve to depend on the specialist to draw my blood, run IV lines after. I have to make sure treatments aren't to close together etc.

So, I missed today's treatment, I'm flaring up, and I'm so ****ed. I'm so god damn ****in' sick of always waiting and always having something interfere with my therapies.

I needed to vent. I hope this **** clears up quick, because I don't have three more weeks to wait. Also, the medication to get the disease under control costs a ****in' arm and a leg here in Italy. I hadn't expected to need a massive supply of it since I was stable for 10 years, but suddenly when I got here, it all turned to ****. I take 16 Pentasa and or Asacol a day, and it'.s 22 Euro for 50 of them. **** me, I'm screwed.

Have you tried Low Dose Naltrexone for your Crohn's? It is worth a shot.

It seems like it's something that you'd really need to get under control so you aren't suffering through treatment for Lyme (I'm sure that is an understatement).

LDN is relatively inexpensive, and I'm sure you could get it in Europe. It might be hard to find a doctor willing to prescribe it there though. So instead, I am thinking though that you could get one of your U.S. doctors to prescribe it, then get it filled through a compounding pharmacy in the U.S. that will ship overseas.

There are before and after Crohn's pics on this site: www.lowdosenaltrexone.org. No affiliation.

Scroll down about 1/3 of the way on that page, and you'll see the Crohn's study and some pics.

I know it seems cheesy because it claims to treat so many diseases, but if I had Crohn's I would try this. It's mentioned in "The Lyme Disease Solution." I consider it a really important part of my recovery.

Sorry you are going through such a hard time. Just let all the stress and anger out online to get it out of your system, then try to let it go. You are doing the best you can, so don't beat yourself up about the things you can't control.

So sorry to hear of your troubles MB.

This may seem like an odd thought but I wonder if your treatment might be releasing heavy metals? We know that when borrelia and other pathogens die they can release heavy metals. To make a long story short, I recently had an inadvertant release of heavy metals which has caused my colon to go spastic, a problem I hadn't had for a very long time. Now I have a painful, spastic episode almost everyday.

You've probably already thought of this but I'm wondering if you are being exposed to something that might be causing colon problems? How is the water? Food? Any chance of contamination? My sister apparently had an e-coli infection for a long time that no one detected. She had lots of diarrhea and other issues from that.

I know it could be the result of stress but I assume you've had stress before and the issue did not come up?

I am in a similar situation so I understand the urge to SCREAM!!!! I've lost 6 months of forward movement due to a manufacturing defect in a zinc product which caused a zinc overdose for several months. From that heavy metal toxicity, depressed immune system, teeth falling apart etc. etc. Very frustarting so I can relate!!!

I hope your situation improves quickly and you can get on with treatment.

Terry

Thanks for all the hugs, prayers, good thoughts and advice. Of course I'll take all your advice into consideration. Some of it I've already done in the past, some of it requires more indepth thought. I've covered most of my basis, but there are always those things that you miss. Some things didn't work out for me. I've done all Dr H's treatments in NY. He was actually ****ed at me for failing treatment. He told me it was either the IV or I could stop treatment. I figure the IV is just going to produce temporary results anyway, so.... it can wait.

I've done my first treatment with Blood as well as borrelia nosodes. We also did our own blood draw and IV insertion here at home. Erica did it. She is the ninja master first time successes. A brief youtube trip and bingo, we're professionals. Ha, but seriously, this **** is too costly and too much movement for me to be running around to doctors offices to do all this every single time.

She did a great job. As far as the Crohn's Disease goes, I think there is an ongoing autoimmune activity going on, probably a result of not treating the Lyme disease with antibiotics, which is what I've always done until, you guessed it, right before leaving for this trip. Plus I ate some Chocolate, which I've never done before. Apparently pure high quality dark chocolate can really mess up us Lyme patients sometimes. Not sure if that's my issue, but it did happen at the same time periods. It's true, I've been under massive stress before and didn't have a flare-up, so something changed and those are probably the factors.

Unless we get the Lyme under control, this inflammatory response will likely continue and escalate every chance it gets.

I want to report good news, I really do. I'm working my *** off here -- in-fact I've been working my *** off for the last ten years, but especially in the last two. This was my forth treatment, and this too was apparently (at least based on initial response) not successful. However, again, different frequencies, and time-frame play a big role in recovery using this device, so I need another month or two to really flesh it out.

I will figure this out if it requires me to buy my own laboratory.

[lol] Cracked me up. I know exactly how you feel.

If anyone can figure it out, you can. So glad you have Erica the ninja master to help. [Big Grin]

Keeping my fingers crossed for this to produce great results for you.
