This is getting very old. I went to the dr.and he has informed me that I might need a hysterectomy... cervical dysplasia again. I already had a LEEP done. Dr. said the dysplasia is much worse.
Then today my GP called and told me my vitamin D is very low, so now I get to be constipated with the high dose of D 50,000 units for 8 weeks then 800 units daily.
I am just becoming so exhausted from my lyme drama and now this. I keep the drama inside of me so no one truly knows in my family how I feel.
Sometimes I just don't care anymore .I keep reminding myself... "When the going gets tough, the tough get going". But right now I don't feel real tough.
Oh, and I almost forgot... my cholest. is high and the dr. told me to cut down on fatty foods and exercise. LOL... I am active and I don't have anymore fat to take out of my diet, it's vertually a fat free diet now!

Elevated cholesterol is very common for those of us with Lyme.
Please hang in there.
Things will get better.
Try not to keep everything inside, even if it is just to post here.
Try to just tackle one day at a time.
My Mom always tells me to "stop building bridges".
I look at things (that I cannot control) and try to figure out
How I will manage things, do things, afford things down the line.
Any chance of pregnancy?
That got rid of my dysphasia.
Sending you prayers of support, health and healing.
Hugs,
Geneal

Hi Geneal,
Thanks for your thoughts and support.
No, I'm not pregnant... I had 2 atopic pregnancies in my early 20's and could no longer bare children.

Good Morning MDW005/Diane, So sorry all you're going through right now. I am not glad you have cervical dysplasia again, but I am glad the doctor "found" it. Praying God give the doctor wisdom and you too as to what to do.
About vitamin D, I have a "gut sense" that I'm low. I have had the thought lately about going outside (not at high noon!) with bare legs, and letting them soak up sun, "cook them" five to ten minutes each front and back daily. I haven't started yet but will.
You already know this, but hey, it's worth repeating. Prune juice and fiber! My hubby buys prune juice and simmers it on the stove to make it very concentrated. Let's just say he is a "regular" kind of a guy.
On the cholesterol, mine is high, but on the mild-high side. It would seem there is no rhyme or reason for that. I eat healthy. My GP was VERY concerned. My LLD is not very concerned at this point. (My LLD is also a scientist, for real.) BTW, got to add this too, I had been struggling with yeast infections for a couple of years since I had been on abx.
Anyway, so my LLD says (this is not a direct quote, but rather my layman's interpretation, of course, he said it a lot more "scientifically") that I have parasites...these critters (oh, yuck) cause "scratches" on the inside of the veins and arteries. The job of the cholesterol is to fill in/patch up those "scratches" (like a drywall professional does); then get this, the job of the yeast is to go back over the "job" and smooth out the "patch work" (again, like an expert drywaller does).
God really did make our bodies amazing.
Diane, sometimes it is hard, very hard. You are not alone though, ever! Praying for you, may your mind be filled with happy thoughts today!
Better days are ahead!!!
Rhonda

The lack of vitamin D surprises me because I am always outside and I take vitamin D as one of my supplements.
Thanks Daisy and Sammy for the prayers. I'm a tough ole gal; just some days I get so tired of being tough. Most of the time I stay on top no matter what and on the days I'm not, I am a great pretender. Gets exhausting.
Thanks again for listening.

MDW005, I know, it's crazy (vitamin D lack)--sometimes there is just no rhyme or reason.
