My first LLMD visit was a God-send. The Physicians Assistant I saw was very personable, even counseling me about things that had gone on in my life recently (stress factor). I felt at ease immediately.
So I'm back on the boat. 400 mg Doxy daily with the anti-yeast medication plus probiotic. Plus the Probiotics. Flagyl was prescribed but I'm not to start yet. I'm to call back in 3 weeks. They are sending my blood to Igenex, but it's 99% sure I have Lyme, but they really don't suspect co-infections at this point. I've been infected for 8 weeks, early in treatment is good. He expects me to fully recover. Getting it early is the key...after researching & finding out the truth about the disease (and the ignorant denial) I got proactive & probably saved my own skin.
It was a relief to talk to someone who actually knew what they were talking about & didn't have some stupid preconceived idea that Lyme is not serious. They treat it as such.
I don't have much time here, I'll maybe be back tonight. I have to go to work....I'm late now, but must get my prescriptions filled. It was late when I got home last night. I'm exhausted, I don't know how I'm going to work with all this going on. My mind is fried....with the work I do (mental health crisis intervention) I have to stay frosty. But I'm so agitated and angry it's all I can do to function.
Please coninue to pray for me. Thank you...

Our prayers are with you! Those that help others get the favor returned in many ways.
Let go of that anger, now. It'll help with your compleet recovery... which shouldn't be Too long in coming for the "stage" you're in.
Some would call it "early-disseminated". I call it, "you Lucky Bastid, you!"

I will pray for you.
As you say, you have a very good chance of beating this since you have not had it too long.
Many of us would rather be in your shoes.
Your faith will give you the strength you need to get through this and help others who may have Lyme and not know it.
All the best to you!

Thanks to you guys here...I got a break here at work. Very hard to concentrate when my mind is foggy. Thi past weekend I had to work. I was so tired yet had several very difficult, high drama cases that resulted in some loud, emotionally driven situations. Only 1 day of rest before going to the Doc yesterday.
I got my prescriptions this morning......if no Herx in 4 days, I think I'll be okay. I'm hoping & praying for an easy ride. But I'll take the good with the bad. I can handle the Herx...I never give up. I even forced myself to Curves this morning but could only complete 1 round. That's okay. At least I go a little strength training in...I've gained 5 lbs. Gotta keep moving!
So here I go. I have the Epsom salt, peroxide & ginger root for the detox bath. Now I've gotta find a sauna and research Detoxmin (recommended by the doc).
Later my friends & kindrid spirits.

So glad to hear a positive update from you! Praise God that your LLMD is being proactive and especially that he thinks that you will be well soon! Oh, I hope and pray that I am as fortunate!

I am so happy that you got in so early and will most likely not suffer for years to come. I only wish it could be that way for everybody!! God bless.
