- Yes, many years ago, I went a couple times. What a funky wonderful place. Not the resort as one might think and that is all its charm. Very basic, earthy and just what the body needs.
I've only done day trips there. Very affordable. There are a couple new fancy 5 star hotel spas in that area now - hundreds of dollars.
Neither has the charm and old-style ambience of Carson.
Bagby is another one - even more rustic with no roads in. I've not been there but hear it's very unique. Photo: www.bagbyhotsprings.org
And hours to the south, Breitenbush Hot Springs is supposed to be wonderful, too. - www.breitenbush.com -

Good description. I worked there '89-90 as I was finishing at Western States Chiro College.
Did mostly massage, was lucky enough to trade with other therapists. Talk about heaven - a soak, a wrap, a massage. Feet did not touch the ground for a few days after that.
Never went to the others you mentioned but did hear a lot about them.
Did chase some other hot springs around in the wild, mostly on rivers.
