Please, please, please bring me along...

I'm a light packer, but I'm on CPAP, so I need a power source.

Let's start with a nice hotel with a pool. I'm thinking tropical, because I'm in the Pacific NW, where it is cloudy and cool this July.

I really like reef-diving and snorkeling. Can we include that?

I dove the Blue Hole off of Belize and the Great Barrier Reef on my honeymoon! Please, please, please can we go diving??!!!

I am definitely in!!!

I soooo need a vacation!!!

I love the beach too, so anywhere tropical sounds great.

I love listening to the ocean, looking for seashells and dining by the water.

I have never reef-dived or snorkled, but there's always a first time...

If anyone near PA needs a ride to the airport I can pick you up in my Suburban.

We will have a ball!!!! [woohoo]

Come and get me, Dekrator!!!

The best snorkeling I ever experienced was in a secret hidden cove on Maui. Fish of all kinds, sea turtles and while we were there, a humpback took a wrong turn and entered the cove for a minute or two! An unforgettable experience! Can we go there?

Does anyone have a magical slimming bathing suit I could borrow [Smile]

Beats me....my husband always says it.

I think it means a smaller fish....anything smaller, better then the alternative.

Sounds good anyway.....

Oh, I'm gettin' hungry for seafood speaking of Pikers.

Lots of Tartar sauce minus the cholesterol.

Crabs in drawn butter.......okay, maybe I'll buy two suits at the Magic suit shop

.....one for me and the other half of me......need room to eat!

THANKS 2roads! [woohoo] [woohoo]
I'll meet the PA people at the airport. Hooray!

I made reservations for two dozen friends (we know more will show) at a little resort in Costa Rica. We can have the whole place to ourselves and they'll open up more rooms if needed.

The chef specializes in the freshest local ingredients and caters to gluten-free. I was assured they make their own guacamole daily [lick] and offer local almonds, so we can have the saturated fats needed for proper Mepron absorption. Plus, they'll pack a lunch with lots of organic produce for day trips if we just ask at breakfast that morning!

I LOVE snorkeling, and there's a beautiful little cove just few minutes down the beach from our hotel. I hope you all don't mind me being so forward, but I had to act on the reservation while i had a moment of energy. Figured you'd love the place, too. I haven't been to Costa Rica before, but it has such diversity, it could fit everyone's dream.

Oh! Our hotel offers Swedish massage daily and an acupuncturist comes in to offer treatments out of the spa once a week. Between the meals, the cove and the spa, i was hooked. [Big Grin]

I forgot to ask for a description of the pool, but maybe someone else could do that?

I have a "packing disorder," so i better hurry back to my suitcase. Bring some "sensible shoes" for horseback riding, unless you just want to ride along in the surf...
[spinning smile]
Hugs and a
Big Smile!

Smile,

We'll see you at the airport!

Look for the silly people with the bags from the Magical Slimming Bathing Suit Store.

The resort in Costa Rica sounds fantastic!

I've never been there either.

Sounds great...fresh, local, gluten free food.

Swedish massage and accupuncture treatments.. [woohoo]

Ok, I just got off the phone...called the resort about the pool....or should we say POOLS!

They have 7 pools ranging from small to large, shallow to deep, quiet to rowdy...you name it.

They also have assigned each guest a personal chef to cater to any desires that occur during during off-meal times. [lick]

I was also assured that they specialize in drinks and food specialities for people who do not eat sugar or sugar substitutes.

There is also a special request button given to each guest. Press it and they will make your every whim come true!

Hooray! I let the hotel know we'll need the whole resort, so all seven pool will be ours!

The one with the smaller waterfalls and exotic night lighting calls to me... Also love the idea of getting some good exercise in the Olympic pool since Dekrator48 had the wisdom to get their sunshield installed for us in advance.

Oh, almost forgot! Just negotiated a deal for everyone with Lyme disease to get two free items of SPF 30 clothing from that world-renown outfitter. So even if you're not packing for CR right now, get a light-weight summer top and cute hat to keep you safe.

kathy1966 -- Please include me on the rainforest expedition. I want to see colorful birds! I'd like to take a tram line, nothing too strenuous...

My only concern is the bumpy ride on local roads from the Capital to our lovely hotel. Does anyone have a contact in the hydroplane industry? Just for a few shuttles to/from the airport.

Oh, forgot to mention bikini is for the sea turtle cause it doesn't fit anymore.

I called the resort back and told them I needed to use my "special request button" before I got there and they said no problem!!

I requested they arrange for bumpless transportation for all of us to the hotel....also no problem!

This is a great resort, btw, they are soooo acommodating!!

I have a special request for the hotel... could they please include daily bathtub cleaning for those who do detox baths? With no cats that drink water only from the tub spigot? Could they include that in their low, low price? Oh, and chocolate on the pillows? [Big Grin]

You'll know we're there by the noise from the rowdy cheering crowd inside the plane! Make sure to hop on!

Thanks for all the special arrangements, Dekrator! I'll be looking for your white chariot!

My idea is that we can have someone teleport us up there from our homes & we can go to the place Jodi Foster went in Contact... LOL

It would be some place on a superior astral plane where we could be cured of all of our ailments & we can return home balanced, refreshed & 100% healthy.

There would be plenty of time for snorkeling, exploring, healing, spa treatments, fine cuisine, etc. since time would be fluid. We'd come back in a few minutes but it would seem like a lifetime. No one would miss us...

No worries about packing or going through customs. Everything we need would be there already & we don't need any passports or money.

Good morning folks!

We made it to the airport with the PA and NY crew!

We took off a short time ago and are headed to OK to get misfit.

Oh daisy and gwb...where are you?? Do you want to go along?

Hi sk8ter,

Don't worry about your body...bring it along and you'll have such a good time you won't care!

All those swedish massages and pools to relax in,etc will take your mind off the pain.....that's what I'm counting on too.

We'll swing by in the plane to get you after we pick up misfit in OK.

Since flying does not work for me, I am looking into hot air ballooning over or sailing! Any one want to join me?

I think there will be lots of sea turtles with our old swimsuits on.

Dear kam,
Since i'm "time challenged" and have a "packing disorder", i missed the rowdy PA gang at the airport. Too exhausted from living with Babs...

Well, we duked it out, and i'm leaving Babs here!

I'd love to go hot air ballooning with you to Costa Rica! Always wanted to try that! I'll be ready to leave shortly! I'm bringing all-taste, no problem Pina Coladas to enjoy on our ride.

kam and smile,

We will watch for your balloon on the horizon at the resort.

When you see the crazy mob headed toward your balloon after you land, you will know it is us!

Misfit,

Thanks for waving your arms like that, we had no trouble finding you.

And you were right about the purse...her overstuffed purse needed it's own seat on the plane! [Big Grin]

Ok, now let's settle back on this plane, relax with a good movie and have some low fat, sugar free freshly made hors dourves. [lick]

On second thought, turn off the movie...I want to talk to my friends that I am just meeting in person for the first time.

We should be landing in Costa Rica in about 4 hours....hope they have enough hors dourves on this plane. [Smile]

Can't wait to see who else decides to come along on our vacation.

One problem.....I hate to fly.............

Just got back from a New Haven flight but I will try to perservere again. It's vacation right.....

Who doesn't mind sitting next to a flying nut and keeping her calm?

Costa Rica, we're comin'.

I'm still waitin' for that dinner at 20:00 hours.

Maybe I should've taken the hot air balloon Kam..........

Folks, our wheels have just left the ground.

You know, this is the second most dangerous part of flying. The first is landing............

But, I'm most excited about the sunset over the water and the awesome company.

Okay, let me know when we touch down.

Can't wait to feel that white sand between my toes.......

We should be touching down in Costa Rica in about 30 minutes!

Then we will check into our resort suites, freshen up and head to dinner!!!!!!!!!!

We have plenty of time since Costa Rica time is 2 hrs earlier than Eastern daylight savings time.

I called the resort chef and they will make sure we have plenty of delicious gluten free linguini and french bread that tastes just like the real thing. [lick]

Our tables are right at the edge of the water.

OK, fasten your seatbelts passengers...and get ready for landing.

Oh no, I missed the ride to the airport!

By the way, isn't this a virtual vacation?
To me, a virtual vacation means one with no Lyme Disease and no medicine.

We can eat all the sugar and drink all the alcohol we want. We can spend the entire day in the sun without and sunscreen and get wonderful tans.

Bring on the Appletini's!

Wow!!!! What a DAY!!!!!!!! [bow]

Breakfast at the water's edge while listening to the local birds chirping happy songs.

Some shopping at the resort's beautiful boutiques and the local's shoppes.

Floated around each of the 7 pools while getting to know all my lymenet friends.

A scrumptious lunch was prepared from fresh seafood, veggies and fruits and was chased down with a the best pina colada I ever had!

For dessert I had a double chocolate brownie mousse delight! [woohoo]

Then back into the pools to relax after all that work eating such a big lunch. [Wink]

Now tonight, we are meeting for dinner at 8 again, different restaurant and I hear that they have 27 homemade desserts on the menu.

See you there all!!! [hi]

Oh Kam............ [kiss] !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree guys. I never want to leave either.

The sun is so soft on my face and the days hot sand on my back lurs me into laying here all night.

The breeze is refreshing and my Colada packs a punch.

It sure was a great day Dek. I've never floated around so many pools with a tray of food and drink floating beside me. All the while hearing the crashing ocean waves. The water is clear. The fish are amazing.

I can't wait to go snorkeling tomorrow! You excited BoxerMom? Me too.

The flowers are so pretty, their tangerine orange color.

I see them when I close my eyes on this beautiful beach. Crash......oh, the tide is rising.

I suppose it's time to get showered at our luxurious hotel on the ocean.

Can't wait to see what surprise house keeping left on our beds today!
