- I can't watch America's Got Talent as it makes me very dizzy and nauseated - and can trigger seizures for me (all that flashing, fast camera moves and so much audience noise).
But, I've seen a few out takes of that beautiful girl who sings opera (Jackie Evancho). I would LOVE to see her, on my TV, rather than just in a video clip on the computer.
I'm four time zones later than ET.
You guys on the East Coast (or even Central time or Mountain time) get this way ahead of me.
So, if anyone sees it and sees that this Jackie Evancho performs, would you please note the time and post it? Then, I can know approximately when to tune in.
Thanks so much. -

I'm going to see a live show tonight! Thanks for reminding me to tape America's Got Talent!

Hi Keebs,
Jackie Evancho and Sarah Brightman just finished singing. It was phenominal. The segment with her started here at 8:57PM. They sang,
Time To Say Goodbye.
I am just concerned that Jackie won't have a childhood. After all, she is only 10. Hopefully, her parents are wise enough to help balance that somehow. Enjoy the performance.

- Dekrator and Gael,
Thanks. It's just starting here but looks like I have a ways to go before she sings. I'll keep an eye on the clock.
I love Sarah Brightman. That should be good.
I appreciate the replies. -

Jackie's voice is a gift from God. I'm no opera fan but I'd pay to hear her sing.
She actually blew Sarah Brighton out of the water in my opinion.
Whether Jackie wins or not, she will have a wonderful future.

I agree that Jackie sounded better than Sarah tonight.

- After being able to tune in and catch Jackie & Sarah right on time, I was able to catch the very end of it just now. Glad the guy one first place as it's probably best but Jackie still shines nearly equal to the top prize.
My guess is that the same disciple (and parental care) that that has been guiding her will help her stay sane and wise.
I thought Jackie did sound better than Sarah. I think the audio balance was way off on their duet and something must have been wrong with Sarah's microphone. Also seemed like the song was cut very short.
It's refreshing to see this young girl look like a young girl even with a big talent. She was appropriately made-up and dressed. Very lovely. -

- Hawaii, I wish. West Coast, inland a bit. But, I just have to say that photo of you is very distracting. Sure makes me want to be at any ocean. -

Glad that you were able to catch it Keebler. I am happy the other singer won as well. Not because I didn't think Jackie didn't deserve top prize, but I just couldn't imagine a 10 yr old holding the demands of a headliner act.
I also think she was better than Sarah, however Jackie has the advantage of young hardly used vocal chords.
Sarah is still one of my favorites, and for sure Jackie has an incredible future ahead. She is just such a charming sweet unaffected little girl.
